Traitor! J/k, I think both cabs are great, though I slightly prefer the less-curved tube on the blast, better speakers, and ease of putting a 360 in. I also think the ms-2930/1 has a more stable image than the ms8/9 which are prone to blooming (maybe it’s just an age thing).

What’s the reason for you wanting to swap?

I picked up the blast as my "learner" cab.
It's in okay shape, but I just like the astros a bit better after getting some hands on time with both.

so there's that, but I'm also trying not to start a cab collection, since i'm getting an astro from cdamm :P

Got this today too - mostly for the kids, Disney Magical Tetris Challenge - I hadn't had an Aleck SETA 64 board before - these are really compact and easy to store PCB's, a pleasant surprise, and the N64 silkscreen logo on the board is cool too:

Yes, Pink Sweets Ibara Sorekara PCB, in a shock w/art from Southtown. The shocks have to have some of the innards notched out to fit around the larger PCB bits, but you can't tell once you close it.

I find it considerably easier than Ibara so far - i'm hitting stage 4 already...and I very rarely made stage 4 in Ibara - that game owns me. It's quite a bit brighter too and the powerups are much easier to figure out (for me).
