Okay, I just bought a front loading neo cd, but after reading some old posts in this forum I've kind of got scared. Do I need a stepdown converter? Will it break really easily? If so, how can I prevent that? Thanks...

The only problem I ever had with my front loader was a bad AC cord, nothing else.

the only problem i've ever had with my neocd is that it takes forever to load the damn games!!

i thought people were exxagerating them, but like hell they were. they really are that bad. but the music in most games is awesome :D

Loading is pretty sick on those machines, even the blazing fast 2x version. Haha, I don't know what they were thinking, but then again... you do get cheap games out of it, some exclusives too. As for breaking easily, you don't really need a step down converter, most machines should have atleast a +/- 10 volts tollerance anyway. But, if you want to be safe, you can pick up a power conditioning step down converter from the shack, it will atleast put your mind at ease.
