Vektorlogic has been selling his hyper64 3 game bundles on ebay recently...

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=746235220" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=746235220</a>

This about the 4th bundle he's sold and they've been selling slightly cheaper each time. Think I've got a bargin here! Which one of these games is the best? Think I'm looking forward to SSWR the most, but Buriki One sounds good...

Now to rein my spending in for a few weeks ;)

w00t!

Edit - Stuff arrived, subject changed! :)

Congratulations, Spectre.
I bought it because of SSWR and now I'm only playing Buriki.
Hope you didn't get korean SS64 1.

It's a nice system, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. We do have a very small following though, don't we ;) .

I wonder why that is? It's not like the hardware and games are that expensive... and they're certainly enjoyable games.

Has anyone ever seen one of these systems in the wild? I saw one once while I was in Tokyo. It had one of the SS games in it. At the time I didn't own a Hyper, so I'm not sure which SS it was.

I have only seen one somewhere in Orlando a while back... I had to do a double take because I knew about Neo-Geo and the MVS, in fact I had my NGPC with me, but I had never heard of the NG64. It was pretty nice, but sadly other games that came out at the same time blew it out of the water graphically. I played the game (Samurai Showdown 64) twice, and found it fun as opposed to many of the better looking games which weren't nearly as good. That's what I love about SNK.

Poor kernow! And then you too can quench that desire and play your NGH64.... and then promptly put it away in the closet.. never to be played again :D

errrr.... I meant to write that you should break down and buy the system so that you can play it, put in the closet, and never touch it again like NeoDragon always teases you ;) .

Man my grammar was terrible on that one.... I left out an entire sentence.. no excuses :( .

Honestly though, it's only cause I've been a busy bee lately. I plan on hooking it up and playing some FF later today though! You can come over and play it if you want ;) .

My gear turned up this morning - paid Jeff on Saturday, he shipped it Monday. Everything minty mint, shipped in a big FFWA box (12 pieces! Even has FFWA cart stickers on the outside of the box I'll be lifting off and putting in my flyers collection :) ) packed full of polystyrene to keep my kits safe. All the kits are Jap, mobo is revision 2 (jamma/mvs and stereo/mono switches etc). Not had much of a chance to play the games yet, FFWA the only one I've played more than once, but they all look excellent. Initial impressions of FFWA is that it is very much to Fatal Fury what SF Ex is to Street Fighter. The presentation on all of the games is excellent, very very crisp graphics and booming sound. Very impressed. :)

If I had any grumbles it would be the lack of flyers for SS64-2 and lack of 'proper' marquees for all games. But thats being really picky. Incidentally my Buriki One kit came with two copies of all the extras, can anybody tell me if this is normal? Also, does anybody know where I can get my hands on an english revision 2 motherboard manual? I mostly just want to know what the 4 dip switch block does... wondering if dip1 will get me into the test mode without needing a jamma test switch, but I'm not going to go and flip it until I know what it does. ;)

Really pleased with my new toy and the fantastic service I've had from Vektorlogic. Anybody considering buying their Hyper64 stuff should go for it - you won't be dissapointed. :)

I as well got Buriki with two copies of extras.
BTW, you cannot enter test mode thru dip switches. You need to wire test switch.
