I made my own Kizuna insert (clamshell) and it looks REALLY spiffy and the paper stock I used is alarmingly close to SNK stock.

Thanks Ryo!

Just wanted to show my love for RyoGeo and Nick_th_fury. Followed your instructions and it worked PERFECTLY. Came out to about $4 and change an insert and they look NIIIIIIICE.

Thanks guys. I owe you one.

PS If you guys happen to *purchase* a japanese version of acrobat, just patch it with an English patch and distiller will then be in english :)

May I ask where your Kinkos is located? Just so it may inspire other sin your area to make the visit.
Also did your Kinko's ONLY work with PDF files?

In reply to your question big bear, I live in SoCal and I used the Kinkos in Walnut just off the 60 Freeway on Fullerton.

The problem with Kinkos is that they do not have photoshop, only adobe acrobat reader. That is the reason the files must be in PDF format.

All you do is go to a computer, open up the PDF. Find out what their network printer is (usually "fiery" something). Print to that. Make sure print to fit page is *not* checked, otherwise they will come out too big. Finally roll over to the desk, pick the heavy one side gloss ledger size stock and tell them to print. Then, go find the board and cutting tool they have and cut it to size. Remember that the cut is made at the *edge* of the metal, so place your insert accordingly.

Any other questions please ask.

Yeah, where are the other inserts guys?

Hi. I will be attending to getting those inserts BACK online by next week..not this week. I have been tending to some personal business that needs almost exclusive and immediate attention right now...
I assure you though..that the project will become a mainstay in the community/scene...whatever people wish to refer this gathering :-D
Please "bear" with me...
I was going to upload a few inserts to Peter's FTP but it is down..and I've read he's been experiencing some probs :-/

That cool KOF Boxset courtesy of HINGE WILL be available for Download @ KAZ's site soon
BTW is Peter's FTP down?
Thanks.
Be sure to check my page..If anyone wishes for me to add an article there or a NEO GEO link..let me know...

Those shock box inserts look absolutely AMAZING! Especially the King of Fighters set! It's nearly enough to make me consider switching completely to MVS!!

Is there a good page of downloadable US style inserts for AES carts that are normally JPN only or for unreleased carts?

Keep up the good work guys!

That kof set is UN-BEAR-ABLY Cool! Hmm, I'll have to get some more cases after I move. That KOF set is slammin'..

Any word on when the box sets are going to be up again? I'd really like to get the KOF set and the SS set. Any word on a LB set? (yeah, i know it'll be small since it's only 2 carts)

UPDATE

Went back to Kinko's last night to print another insert and found out something insteresting. First off, I don't know if they made a mistake or not but it only cost me $1.80 to print the insert. Also, and more importantly, they had one workstation with adobe photoshop 6.0 and when I asked the people there about it they said the file could be in photoshop format and be printed.

So, that leaves the question, is there a particular reason we should have the files in PDF format when Kinko's has photoshop?

Great questions, Bar81. All I can do though, is tell you what my Kinko's wants. They are different all across the country.

For some, like you, that is a really good thing. For others it is, unfortunately, much more expensive. Be happy! :) You have a good one near you! <img src="graemlins/tickled.gif" border="0" alt="[Tickled]" />

Cool :)

For those wondering, I'll be putting up some more inserts on my site soon - I meant to do it last week, but I haven't had a chance yet at all. I got some other cool stuff to put up as well, it'll all be online in the next few days anyway :D

Also, I was thinking about making a box set for LB and FF any ideas? I've never made a box set so I'm not really sure exactly how to go about it. Hi - really sorry that I haven't got these inserts up yet - I've ot been at the PC much lately for many reasosn so I have not had time to make ANY updates to the site at all. I've been at work a lot, plus I've been taking advantage of the decent weather we've had here for the past few days, been skateboarding and also I was at the Ozzfest last week... so all in all it has been pretty hectic :D

I am just about to make a small update right now though, and I will prepare the inserts (rar them up etc) so that I can put then up REAL soon... promise this time ;)

Once again, I'm sorry to everyone for not updating sooner.

No probs, I'm glad to help out any way I can - but most of the credit goes to the people who made these inserts, they did the really hard work :D

Thanx Kaz, I just visited the site and downloaded the boxset you have for download. Great download speed too! Thanx a lot. I've almost completed my LB boxset. Once I'm finished I want to begin on another SS set or a FF set.

Thanx again! :D

Cool - Some more are gonna be up in a bit actually, I'm just uloading them now (for some strange reason my upload speed is crawling though). Check in an hour or two for an update :)

You are making a Last Blade box set? Cool! I'd love to see that sometime if you don't mind :D
