How to alter RGB levels

I'm using the RGB signals straight from my MV-2F (through Jamma connector pins N, 12 , 13) to a Scart connector which is plugged into my PAL TV.

The picture is really sharp and nice, but a bit too bright in my opinion, even the TV setup doesn't help that much.

Now I'm wondering if a simple modification could be done to alter the 3 signals ?
I was thinking of using 3 potentiometers on the 3 cables. :smirk:

I know this topic was discussed some time ago but cannot find the thread again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ! :)

resistor

you need a 80-100 ohm resistor, I use 90 ohm and the picture was perfect..
that is one 90 ohm resistor on each of the RGB lines..so you will need three....

You could use 3 x 150 ohm variable resistors to give some adjustment of the rgb levels.

my guess is that you might want to go with a 200 ohm potenitomiter to fine tune the colors.

Thank you guys for the feedback ! :)
I made a test on red with a spare rotary potentiometer I had and it works exactly as I wanted. :buttrock:

Next step is to buy 3 with the values you mentionned, wire them to RGB lines through a nice little pcb and attach it to supergun and I'm all set !

Done with sunglasses to play the Neo :D (jokin here !)
