I like to think I'm pretty good at KoF but, sometimes I get my ass kicked pretty bad. I find myself trying to pull moves off during matches while sacrificing the battle. When I do this I usually lose but, when I actually try and time my moves, I do a good job and usually kill the character pretty bad.

The team I usually play is as follows in no particular order:

K'
Kyo
Vanessa
Striker - Chris or Smart Chang

Sometimes I vary a little bit depending on my mood and who I'm playing against. I will sometimes change Kyo to King when someone picks a faster character who can counter kyos orochinagi moves really well.

I'm not the best by any means, but I can give anyone a run for their money in KOF. Mainly, I use the same team that I've always used since '94, but once in a while I do change it up a little.

Usually, you'll find me playing Team China with a Karou Striker in KOF 2000. Sometimes I use Mary, Kensou and Chin with a Yashiro Striker... or I'll replace Mary or Kensou with Athena. Bao sucks and he will ALWAYS suck. <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

In earlier KOFs, I got pretty good with Mai, Mature, Terry, RB2 Joe ('98), Kasumi and Andy Bogard.

And I'm in the good ol' USA... the only place on the planet where most gamers don't give SNK games any sort of credit! Wait... does that technically rule me out any of my knowledge on the game? <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

If you think shin james is good, you should challenge the guy who taught him. Besides his obnoxious one hand playing skills , comboing dms with one hand that shit is sick. Or playing by his rules against people playing the regular way of kof. SHIN JAMES RULES, he will not do any special moves, call strikers, enable counter or armor mode,execute death moves, and pick all random, while the other guy has the ability to do all the above mentioned. If the opponent is his friend he usually plays it a fair match, with the match going into the fifth round. You have got to see him play, my cousin looks like a deejay on crak when plays one handed. He can at least beat the whole game, with one hand with random,He always says he sucks though, funny how he sucks in everything huh.

I have switched teams a few times, I am using the one below right now:

1. Clark
2. Kyo
3. Leona
S. Yashiro

I'd be playing straight Ikari if not for suck-ass Whip. Hopefully the ending in 2000 is for real she has left Ikari permanently for Nests so we can see Heidern back in 2001! Score! Anyway the 2nd spot in my team keeps giving me problems because my Kyo is only half-decent, I've replaced him w/Benimaru, Kim, and Andy at times.

Yashiro is one of the most underrated strikers in the game, he is not an OTG master like Joe but he can add sick damage to a regular combo.

MY COUSIN WHO SHARES THIS NAME WITH ME, IS NOT HERE TODAY. HE WENT BACK TO HIS OWN BORING HOUSE. WELL MY FAVORITE TEAM IS FOUR RANDOM CHARACTERS. I LIKE TO ENTER A GAME NOT KNOWING WHO I HAVE AND BEING FORCED TO MAKE THE MOST OF WHAT I HAVE. I DO NOT LIKE TO BE LIMITED IN ANY WAY, BUT I PREFER TO HAVE FUN, SO I LOSE A WHOLE TON OF MATCHES. BESIDES ANYONE WHO THINKS I'M GOOD MUST BE OUT OF THEIR MIND, SINCE I PLAY THE GAME LIKE STREET FIGHTER 2, SO BASIC, SO SIMPLE, AND TO HAVE FUN. ACTUALLY I SUCK... IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, ASK ANYONE IN HAWAII, THEY WILL TELL YOU SO.

IN CLOSING, I HOPE I DON'T OFFEND ANYBODY BY SAYING THIS, BUT I REALLY DON'T GET THE POINT AS TO WHY PEOPLE DO THEIR BEST COMBOS ON A MOTIONLESS OPPONENT, THEY SHOULD DO IT ON A OPPONENT DURING THE GAME, IT WOULD BE SO MUCH MORE REWARDING. ANY GOOD PLAYER SHOULD ALREADY REALIZE THE EXTENT TO HOW FAR A CHARACTER CAN GO, AND USE THAT POTENTIAL DURING CONDITIONS THAT ARE REAL, AND NOT BASED ON THE IDEAL.
