Help with Devhook

The problems of having a bootleg memory stick manifested themselves yesterday, and I had to reformat it. I lost devhook, so I have to install it again. The problem is, I didn't do it myself, a friend put it on my psp for me (the same friend who downgraded my psp.).

So, my question is, what is the best version out right now? By best I mean most functional, and safest.

word. use the ultimate installer. it even has a boot back to 1.5 feature built in.

Is it against the rules here to say where you found the download? That's 1/2 the problem for me. My usual homebrew site is very unorganized and I couldn't find anything...

Also, I heard that the peeps behind devhook were kinda getting some heat from Sony. Is there truth to that?
