Give me old PC game recs

Cyrix 486dx2 50mhz
16MB RAM
Gravis Ultrasound
Trident VGA
Dos 6.22 + Windows 3.1

I have obvious stuff like Doom, early Duke nukem and commander keen already.

The PC will not be able to handle 3D stuff unless it is extremely primitive, think no textures and was released in 1993 or earlier.

Rule of thumb is that the specs are sufficient for most dos games up to around 1994.

Diablo would probably run, but needs Windows 95.

I'm pretty sure windows 95 games would be a real stretch. Doom runs at 10fps with ordinary settings. Need to turn off a lot of graphics details and reduce resolution to get it to a playable framerate. Duke nukem 3d can load... but probably runs between 5 and 7 fps. The overhead of running windows while trying to load a game would surely kneecap performance unless it's a very basic win 3.1 style game like solitaire, minesweeper or ski free.

The orignal Death Rally would probably also work on that machine.

I have a cf in there, it is terrific for easily adding games and programs.

Death Rally is terrific but requires a more modern vga card because it uses some special high res or high color mode. What's integrated into the motherboard here from 1991 can't do it

I've got it on there already, it runs really well on this pc. As a nifty bonus, it's got special support for the soundcard I'm using so the audio is fantastic and higher quality than what you'd get with a generic soundblaster.

It's pretty cool, you've probably never heard of it.

I'd vote for any of those point and click adventure games.
Maniac Mansion is always a good one!
