Garbled Graphics on MV-1FZ

My MV-1FZ was working fine until this morning when I changed carts. I powered my cab back up and all I got was a garbled screen with a recurring flicker acompanied by a flicking sound. I changed carts again and same problem. checked the dipswitches, all are off. Reseated the JAMMA harness, same problem. Tried out my MV-1C, it works fine. So I am assuming the problem is with the board. Any sugestions?

Are cart and board contacts squeaky clean ??
Also make sure the 5 volt supply at the edge connect is OK

Those are classic symptoms of the bios chip not being addressed properly.

You mean not being seated properly?

traces to it or the ram chips to it or not making contact in its sockets or bad eprom/bios

Thanks guys, the bios chip wasn't seated properly. Must of came loose when I was changing carts. Thanks!!!
