In case nobody noticed, Metal Slug Advance was finally released today. GameSpot likes it, and gave it an 8.3/10.

Been playing it today...diggin' it big time. Its got decent music and sound as well which I was worried about. I hate when ports for GBA have shitty sound [SFA3, both KOF's] This actually does what I expect my gameboy to do graphically/sound wise. Very nice!

not entirely. there are some "checkpoints"....and it will only throw you to the beginning of boss battles as well, which is nice.
