Fave.group...Snk or capcom

I like Capcom and SNK equally, however Capcom would probobly tip the scale for me, since SNK puts out what maybe 1 new fighter a year now (KOF)? Thats just not enough to hold my loyalty to them at a crazy level.

But my new favorite fighting game developer is Sammy.

I don't think that Samurai Showdown characters look stupid at all, in fact Samurai Showdown made me buy a Neo <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">. But if you put them beside the likes of Terry/Andy etc they look as far fetched as a Vampire character, I was just using that series as a way of saying that you cannot compare the characters of KOF with Vampire, that's all. Oh yeah, remember...I don't prefer Capcom to SNK (when it comes to 2D fighters) although I know it looks that way <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">, I like them both equally (well maybe SNK a bit better). SNK have better characters and overall better games, I agree, but I love the .vs. and Vampire series, they are dragging Capcom up for me, not the Streetfighter series.

It's cool to see such a hardcore fan as yourself Hidden Dragon, you put up on hell of an argument <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">.

Actually as of recently i've been a more avid SNK fan because of capcom's little problem. For some reason they don't get it that their fighting system has been the same from X-MEN:CotA..it's good and all but as of lately i've been getting tired of it. As for SNK their Kof and Samurai Showdown are inovative enough to last longer in my book than almost any capcom game. That exception being is Rival Schools (1 and 2 even though there practicly the same.) This is all due to the fact that we need more inovation in our games!! In RS there was sports themed characters which was cool because it's fun to go beating the sh*t out of someone with a bat. Right now SNK is in a little ditch also, even though almost all of their games have replay value galore. They need a new and interesting series. I think a magic fighter would be cool. Where there are various wizards/sorcerers who battle it out with different forms of magic. Like not just the typical ice,fire,electrical magic, but the different and unused in fighting games magic. Like making illusions and necromancy and magic that can mess up the controls of another player altering their in game mind. While all of this would be cool it most likely won't happen. Capcom will continue on with their lack-luster Vs. series(while good now trust me it will grow old soon.) So i'm just saying we need innovation and with that both companies will start producing hits we come to know and love.
