sweet little demo is out of the next Capcom Classics, Ghosts and Goblins and Powerstone. Came out in recent Famitsu and is floating on the net.

Ghosts and Goblins carries the same tune but is lush as fuck.
Powerstone Portable: Been awhile since ive played it but looks to be pretty cool (I can see the netplay/linkup battles can have some pottential.
Capcom Classics: From what i see, its a demo of 1943 only........

the demo i grabbed works with devhook43 (havent upgraded to 44 and beyond) so its all good.

Is it as simple as going to a website and DLing it, or is there some horsing around involved? Too bad DS doesn't have online demo DLs.

It s no official download. If your psp cannot run homebrews (2.7x psp or a T-82 model) you are screwed and must get the UMD that was in famitsu. Otherwise, use DevHook as said :)

Anyway, gokumakaimura is released aug. 3rd, not a long time to wait.

Yeah, nor do I, but I can borrow one whenever I want, which is handy.

I think I'm going to buy Goku Makaimura even though I don't own a PSP.

Famitsu rate it too:

Goku Makaimura [Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins] (Capcom): 9, 8, 8, 9 - (34/40)

what issue of Famitsu is this in?

The one released today.

I read through the reviews. Most basically said it is fiendishly hard, even on beginner difficulty setting, but the game is very well made on all counts and keeps dragging you back, so little by little you manage to make progress through it all.

Other than that they basically said what we already know: an updated version of a classic with new bits an pieces here and there.

Apparently expert mode = death in one hit.
