DS Lite Touch screen darker?

Anyone notice that their DS lite's toch screen is a bit yellow/darker than the top screen?

Is this due to the touch screen membrane??

The old DS is like that too.

Mine definately isn't niether was my original DS but I've heard that other people had original DS's where the screen looked yellower than the top screen and stuff like that.

Also since the DS Lite has come out we've had loads of original DS's traded in obviously and theres been a good few with noticably darker/yellower bottom screens.. Not sure why or how they are like that but I have witnessed them.

perhaps Nintendo used a different manufacturer for certain batched of touch screen?
