Here's a oekaki drawing I did of Jpop singer, Namie Amuro. Don't know if it looks that much like her though.

I've never heard of Namie, but it's a pretty good looking drawing, certainly colorful. The perspective on the box she's sitting on seems out of whack to me, as it gets bigger going away from the viewer, instead of getting larger at the end closer to the viewer (unless it's supposed to be more of a wedge shape that a cube, than it would make sense).

^ Thanks. Yeah, I usually don't really pay much attention to the perspective of objects in my drawings. I didn't even notice how bad the box was until you commented on it.

I used to draw frequently, most of the drawings you see here are well over 7 years old, I haven't drawn anything much since then and I have a ton more shit unscanned, just too much of a hassle, but one of this days I will get back into it.

I love inking more than anything else, I used to rush my pencils in order to start inking as you can tell. Over time I started developing a love for backgrounds, that's where I left off though. Now my plan is when I come back I want to start drawing a bit more realistic, kind of like Jae Lee since he has a nice taste for inks and large shadowing.

I've done inking professionally before but it never took off and it doesn't pay the bills well enough. When I started coloring in PS I pretty much fended on my own just messing around left and right, never really divulged much time into it.

I do not like comic art without inks, is just a thing for me but that's just a matter of taste.

One day I'll come back to doing this, for now I'll just share this. I think I have posted this pics before but I couldn't be for sure.
My brother just happened to send me like 2 books full of my drawings back when I was a kid, some of it is not bad but most of it is horrible, way worse than what you see here, but maybe one day I'll scan some of it, I hate scanning though, that's why all I have on the computer is this.

Maybe one day I'll get off my ass and scan all my stuff, i have so much crap, this is just some of the things I really wanted to color and some I did and others I never got to it. Most of this drawings were made with that in mind, so most of it it's not truly my style 'cause I like doing way more shadowing but this will do for now.

thanks, its my basterdization of Reco(reko?) from Mushihimesama. She's has most of her signature elements/clothing but I did get rid of her top hairpiece cause it always kinda irked me.

I did reduce her bust size quite a bit, but thats the nature of Chibi-styled characters. Many chibi designs end up with androgynous bodies but I tried to gave her a lil bit of bang.
