I go to one of those shitty chain places.

So no, they don’t ask and I don’t think I’ve ever had the same person cut my hair twice.
I used to do the same, just a short/buzz everywhere, kinda hard to fuck up. Eventually one of the girls who cut my hair there offered to trim them for me, and I picked up the habit.

I thought the problem with cutting your eyebrows is that they don't grow back?
That's why people generally don't do it.

That's girls who repeatedly pull them out to shape the line. Eventually they stop coming back.

I have a beard trimmer I use for my... well my beard, and one of the attachments is the perfect length for my brows.

This is absolutely the way to do it, clipper over a comb and keep them not too crazy.

I'm hairy AF and it's pretty necessary maintenance with my normal haircut and beard trim.

what are you, 16?
plucking your eyebrows might damage the root, but cutting does absolutely nothing to stop them from growing.

Typical Yorkshireman, no sense of humour. IIRC you're no more from the States than I am, but if you wish to estrange yourself from your heritage, that's your problem twonk.
I had to look up what twonk means but no, I'm not trying to estrange myself from my heritage. It's just that my heritage is nothing remotely like you are "joking" about so I took offense.
