Do you find yourself playing shmups more often then any other Genre these days?

That probably has something to do with it as well. I feel like I should be paid by the hour when I have to play a game with a guide in hand.

Same, with the addition of a kid I'm lucky to have 30 minutes to game. He's usually sitting there tugging at my pants leg while I try. Shmups and beat-em-ups are about the only genres I can enjoy with quick sessions.

Nice. My boy is 13 months. I'll be happy as hell when he's old enough to join in. Right now he likes slamming his hand down on the buttons on the cab.
