I was wondering if anyone knew what type of material is on the sides and front of the NEO GEO dedicated machine and where to find some of it. It looks like contact paper to me but I'm not sure. Any help would be aprreciated, thanks.

I forgot to add that this is the old style (red & black)dedicated machine and not the candy units.

The stuff over the control panel is a vinyl sheet, but not like favlon (or whatever its called) more like the trade stuff that you can get signs made out of, or large decals for cars.
Thats the closest I've found to it! A professional sign maker would have the equipment to make you a piece in whatever pattern or size you wanted!
BTW, the stuff on the MVS cabs seems to become very brittle as it gets old <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

It's been awhile since I've looked at the sides of a mvs cab. It could be laminent.

I have one of those cabs and I believe it's silk-screened on.

My Cab is sort of a "Frankensteins" Cabinet <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
The control panel is off of an MVS , but the cab is just a generic <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
So no side decals <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

It's nearly finished now! Which is why I've been looking into vinyl decals!
I'm still sort of undecided.

If you're going to build your own arcade forget the sides. Once you start piling machines closer and closer together you'll care less and less about the sideart. (Unless it's a classic game (Galaga etc)

Leave the sides black.
