Daily Check: What shooters are you guys playing ATM?

Yea, I'll get some photos up next week when my newest additions arrive. I have two Egret II's on the way from matsu, so that will spruce things up a bit. I'm up to 4 cave boards now, so I think I may need an intervention...what show are we referring to? Seinfeld?

As a quick list:

CABS:
NEO GEO 1 slot--completely stripped, restoring it with a new color scheme
Virtua Fighter--haven't decided if I'll go through with the project, may just part it out as I have very little invested in it
Egret IIx2
Possibly picking up a SFalpha cab on the cheap next month as well

Dangun w/ complete art set (I think, not sure if I'm missing a couple things)

Ahh, yes, some neo love. I played blazing star for a few minutes today.

Made the stage 5 boss on ESPrade as well, got freaking owned.

Broke 11 million though, so I was pretty happy.

nice, thats the last one right? or is there a ministage after 5? the last bosses patterns are way more crazy than the rest of the game. i still haven't passed level 4 on 1 coin yet, not that i've been trying very hard. I'm not really in too much of a rush cause journey>destination.

yeah, blazing star is great. my old cart used to glitch up all the time so i just said the hell with it and sold it for $10. I want a correct one some day, but more than that, Last Resort.

Nope, there is a stage 5-2 as well. I can get to the final boss on 2 credits pretty consistently now, but end up using 3-4 on her alone--what a bitch.

I'm not a big fan of last resort myself. Although, I have never really gotten into R-Type so that may have been part of it. I'd say the best shooter for MVS would be Pulstar just by a hair over blazing star.

Ibara has been keeping me busy. I'm getting better. I'm actually getting ~1,000,000 before the first stage boss dies. I can't get past 1,400,000 though

The first stage boss' last bullet pattern is just nuts. I always just try to bomb like crazy after that.

Wow, all the word of how difficult this game is gives me mixed reactions on buying a kit afterall.

I want to see how it is and I love a challenge, but the first stage boss having an insane pattern!?!
