Ya. After making a few consolized MVS boards. I think the lazy man in me wins out with a supergun build. Let's people use it for other PCBs as well down the road.Supergun would make sense if you plan on buying more arcade boards but if you just plan on doing Neo, get a cmvs. Those ali express cmvs's that look like a Neo aes console seem to pretty cool and not too expensive.
When are we all going to Place a Hit out on that company? How hard would it be to just make all of their computer data just disappear? Very important computer data... A man does go crazy without access to his porn collection that he's been building for years.Best CMVS? Not one made by Neotropolis.
Zero issues with Time harvests Cmvs, though there are some quirks:
They got the rights to the unibios but not the latest one.
No battery and watch out! Some people had issues inserting a regular battery. You need to use a supercapacitor type.
Thats all! Runs beautifully in RGB. Audio out ports are clear clean. The USB version works great with a wireless 8bitdo 2.4g connection…which is incredibly responsive. Best in the market.
uhh, thats an actual AES...Zero issues with Time harvests Cmvs, though there are some quirks:

Got any pics or screenshots? Any ground loop interference?uhh, thats an actual AES...
I have one of the aliexpress ones, came with unibios 4.0, and no battery.
I like the fact it uses the same RGB scart cable as a real AES so I can swap between them and only have to change the power cord.
I'm running mine through an OSSC and it looks fine. I dont think I've ever noticed interference with any CMVS. I've had the Omega, JNX, and this new China special. I can say two things about this aliexpress unit.Got any pics or screenshots? Any ground loop interference?
Agree to disagree. I guess the games in their original form work for me since I'm so used to MVS all the time.I might get one of those for the hell of it...now all they need to do is make AES style shells for MVS games because that looks not so great...

if they did decide to do it,it would be a nice option to have and look better while plugged into that fake aes is all I'm stating. The original shells can always be preserved and put away for safe keeping and again the purchase of course would be optional.Agree to disagree. Sorry the cmvs is on the upper left corner of the pic. Next to the Jamma box.uhh, thats an actual AES...

Not mine but here a pic of a modded one with the new unibios and a supercapacitor for battery. Is that this one? Can you post some screenshots over the various outputs, esp. RGB? Do you see any ground loop interference in the video signal? Their superguns are known for this. Thanks.
Wasn't there a failed project or Kickstarter that tried to address that idea? I think they made one or two prototypes to put MVS boards in AES style cartridges?I might get one of those for the hell of it...now all they need to do is make AES style shells for MVS games because that looks not so great...

Yeah,I am well aware of that but we're talking China.Who would have ever expected them to come out with an AES shell for the purpose of A consolized MVS?Wasn't there a failed project or Kickstarter that tried to address that idea? Edit: here we go. Found the article.

I saw an Aliexpress listing selling the modded MV-1B mobo separately, but not just the shell. I think you would need their board with custom offsets for it to fit the shell well.Yeah,I am well aware of that but we're talking China.Who would have ever expected them to come out with an AES shell for the purpose of A consolized MVS?
It's kind of crazy because they would be better served imo just releasing the parts and accessories rather than trying to assemble everything..OR they could just do both. Producing AES console replacement shells & MVS AES style shells would probably serve them well at this point.

I like the idea and how they look, but separating the original carts and tossing the OEM shells in a pile who knows where to be lost gets a no from me.Yup, I pledged and was super disappointed that it didn't even get close. Not much interest - seems the MVS community is more obsessed with their cardboard boxes than changing MVS shells.
