Apparently this is from a recent Famitsu and should be out in Japan by the end of the year. I guess it's not vaporware after all. Technosoft fans rejoice :buttrock:

Very cool. Been a lot of speculation on this one. I guess that confirms it.

Kudos twalden.

I'm surprised it's not going to be a 360 release. MS dropped the ball on this one.

Nice! I'm glad I already have a JPN PS2! Hopefully it won't be like $64 when it comes out.

This is the best VG-related news in a long, long time.
Viva Technosoft, viva ThunderForce.
Now I wonder if it sports the same music they released as Broken Thunder...

It's great to hear they are going to release this on PS2.

A new hori shmup... ...from my beloved Technosoft! - if this is only half as good as TFVPS it's going to rock my shmup world.

Excellent news, thanks for posting!

I swear that 90% of the reason I stop collecting games for older systems is because they make everything that I want for the PS2. So glad that I have an import PS2.

Seriously, they need to make a comprehensive TF collection for PS2 ala the Sega Ages 2500 series. It'd be the perfect bookend for this new title.

That would be killer. Speaking of the 2500 series, they're releasing a Fantasy Zone collection in Sept. Unlike here, the PS2 appears to be still going strong in Japan.
