I don't see the mini-marquee. Does it not exist? I love Mini-marquees.

You've been raving about the Neo-Store, but I've sent them an email inquiring about a purchase like 4 days ago and they never got back to me. Guess I'll have to get KOF2K1 somewhere else

Is Kof 2001 going to be a rare mvs game ? since *Demand for this title is extremely high, supply is extremely limited.

Four new kits arrived today, yet none had the mini marquee. Very heavy cartridge, surely the heaviest ever! Possibly because of the large meg count.

Also has a bar code (for scanning) on the MVS box and on the back of the MVS cart with matching serial #.
Example: KOF01E-009433

From what I’m told, the official KoF 2001 MVS cartridges (both English & Japanese) are available in pasty white only, as shown. No other variants exist.

Any idea what kind of supply there is of these? KoF2k doesn't seem like it's got a huge supply judging by the infrequency I see it on eBay...

Found the “large” marquees, were shipped in another box. Basically the KoF 2001 logo on a black background.

Time to reap the rewards of running the Neo Store which is accomplished by playing KoF 2001! Hopefully this will be the next KoF ’98 or better.

Man, I'm dyin' over here. While I will get the home cart version, I actually prefer getting the MVS kits. Just wish they weren't so darned spendy when they are new.

Yeah, I wonder why ray's are blue. Could it be the Japanese version that is blue?

Wasn't part of the issue the logo at the bottom of the label? The official one has a logo other than the SNK one - Eolith?. Or so I thought... Anybody know for sure?

Who posted the thread a while back about the official MVS and bootlegs. The official one is supposed to have the Eolith sticker like Shawns does (at least I think that's what that is). I'm not an MVS guy, and think !Arcade! is great, but something is definatly not right about all these different games floating around. Maybe in haste SNK/Eolith just released several different versions of the game???

Your opinion???

Might have been different runs, you never know. I believe the cart was released with several different variations in outside appearance (just like EVERY other MVS title). KOF2k1 isn't rare because only a small number were made, it's rare because it is still in high demand so those that have them are unwilling to part with them quite yet. Another year down the road or so and they will go for a much more reasonable amount (around $200 or so).

Yeah, if it was Japanese, the label would be in Japanese. I think that blue cart is probably a bootleg. The official cart has the Eolith logo, not SNK.

SWEEEEEEET.

I won´t probably own this
until all you guys lost interest in
the Neo alltogether and the price is
down to my range.

When will it be down to 300$?

Ten years from now?

Never?
