cheap Toshiba 42" LCD 1080p?

I've been looking around a bit for TVs lately and I ran across this Toshiba 42" 1080p set and got me wondering why it's cheap (at least in comparison to other like models).

It seems to me that the contrast ratio at 800:1 is rather weak. Anyone had any experiences with this set?

If I remember that model number correctly, it does not support 1080p on any of its inputs. i.e. you cannot output 1080p from a device into the display, but it will di-interlace a 1080i signal.
