She's not exactly a celebrity, but Cindy Stowell's death was a bummer. She destroyed for a week straight on Jeopardy despite a fever and tons of pain killers in late stage cancer. She died before her episodes aired, and she donated all of her winnings to charity (over 100k). You could literally tell she was dying by her low energy, so it's amazing how well she did.

Its a shame she died but I think we all knew she didn't have a chance.

Yeah, I'm not a doctor, but when I heard she wasn't breathing for 10 minutes, I kind of figured it was all over or she'd at least have brain damage. I think 10 minutes is the absolute longest your brain can go without oxygen without starting to die.

George Irving passed on a couple days ago. Anyone here followed his work?

He was great in his role in the 70's series 'All in the Family'.
