I mean Tabasa/Tessa and Hugo are like the only new character from the Capcom roster, yet they continue to select the same people...SNK on the other hand...we have Haohmaru's rival Genjuro...

Other than Shiki, Tabasa, Earthquake and Hugo, the total roster leaves MUCH to be desired.

Waaay too many rehashed, previously matched characters.

Way to many better choices and more obscure games from both companies left out.

I really wanted to see some Rival Schools/Project Justice characters and some MOTW characters but so far it doesn't seem we'll get them. I don't mind the roster so far but there is definately some over hashed characters in there

On the side note, it doesn't feel complete with Kasumi being part of the roster and other "more obscure" characters are not... Tabasa and Genjuro are famous characters from the respective games they came from -- Warzards and SamSho... but Kasumi is just, I dunno...

Did they really need Ryu, Ken, AND Akuma? They should just have done like in MVC and let Ryu switch with the different styles...freeing up space for other characters on the roster.

After all these years...WHY ARE RYU, KEN, AKUMA AND DAN STILL SHARING THE SAME BODY?

Damn, Even Ryo, Robert, and Takuma don't do that...

Capcom does different kinds of shoto-clones to suit different kinds of player attitudes/personalities...

Do you usually play a character because he suits your style or because he can do a cheap 100-hit combo??? Sure Akuma is strong and all and I get a hard time beating him sometimes, but I'd rather play DeeJay, Sakura, and Birdie because they have more attitude and style to me than Mother Russia's Zangief... (Deejay has the best line: "LOSER!")

Same with Shotos... My bro NEVER uses Akuma or Ryu... He's a self-centered playboy so he uses Ken (who has a wife, unlike Ryu or Akuma... loveless) and Vega (a.k.a. Balrog... the self-centered Spaniard matador) because it suits his personality well... Shotokan style in fighting games don't have a steep learning curve either (Unlike Rolento or Gen)...

is one of the key fighters in SF zero2....
i think also that Yamazaki should apear....
only for his appearance...or character design
because i think it is uniqual in the beat 'em up story....
concording to what was said before, i miss fighters from MOTW and Rival schools.....
they should have made a roster with a fighter and his rival o equal on the one side....
like Sakura and Yuri (or Shingo)

and of course.... geese is missing..
another point is..... there are bosses from SF, but no Ororchi, Krizalid or Rugal.....
no Heinlein...
i know.. the hardware is restricted, but i guess they could make more out of it......
but they're still working on it, so hope will continue!
