"Candy Cab" Egret II monitor enhancement

Just wanted too show you guys hooking up my new L.E.D. Upgrade for a 1996 Japanese "candy Cab"(Egret II). Also I'm gonna try too figure out how to get my MVS video signal working with it as well. Stay locked..?

That's it, the ol' 29 in 15/24 kHz (Nanao MS9) monitor. And yeah, I feel the same way. CRT is great, Neo Geo and CAPCOM was a heavy influence on me as a kid.. Funny thing there's a little story that goes with it. Left the window open, during a thunder storm, and water got into the electric sockets..? And I went to turn my cab on and there was a popping noise and no picture.. Anyway this is all I could do for the ol' gal. I played boocoo Geo games on her when she was working right and ran Jamma. Anyway, not all is lost as I have a SEGA Naomi Uni cab too with it's CRT still strong.

You can get that chassis repaired which is what I recommend. You have a massively desirable cab and you've kinda took the magic away from what it is known for. Check to see how much it will cost to get the chassis repaired, you'll be much happier. Non CRT displays also introduce lag as well.
