I have a sigma 6000 and have it connected to my neo sticks. The neo sticks offer only 4 buttons, but for a game like street fighter 2 I need 6...

currently the set up is:
A B C D

I want to make the harness see that pressing A+B = Y, and C+D = z.

AB ->Y
CD ->Z

Is this possible?

It's hard to know if it'd work, without actually testing it.

For example, pressing A + B to get Y. I wouldn't be sure if it'd to A, B, or Y.

my fear is that it would make A, B, and Y occur all at once.

It would if all you are doing is straight wiring it. Why not just add a couple more buttons?

Apparently, he doesn't want to mod (= ruin) the Neo sticks...

I think that's what would happen, the system would think you're pushing all of them at once. Which would give an unknown result. You could end up doing any one of those attacks, or possibly none of them. You're probably better off buying or building new sticks for the system.

I would think your best bet would be to build a 6 button controller a la MAS or something like that. If you have basic woodworking skills, it should be pretty easy and relatively cheap.

it would be possible, but then again, I want to do this with neo sticks, because I can solder a lot more easily than I can saw and drill wood (I have no saw for starters)

One way to do it would be to use 7432 quad OR gates. Attach pin 14 to 5 volts, pin 7 to ground. Pins 1 and 2 to a and b. Pin 3 will be your Y output. Pins 4 and 5 to c and d to cr
:rolleyes:
