I knew a guy who sold a sealed Megaman X2 for $500 and thought that was insane, but this is INSANE. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I have a distrust of new "sealed" games since I'm well aware you can reseal them.

Buddy of mine was looking at the pics, and says its a reseal. Something about where the seams in the plastic are. He says real seal snes games have em in a different location. Not sure about that though. Just food for thought.

For 1000 dollars they're going to display it in a museum like setting. Judging by the game, it will be in the same cabinet as their half-naked 12 year old girl anime figures.

Looks like any other sealed SNES game I've ever seen.

I think if credit cards never existed then bid wars of this magnitude would never happen.

Yeah, and all those old games came in the cheap heat shrink wrap. Anyone that works at a grocery store or a best buy could reseal these things.

I thought a lot of the games had the plastic piece to hang it on a rack?

Or was that something retailers would add on to it?

Hmmm, good point...

I thought it was added during the manufacturing process.

Anyways, I can almost guarantee the winning bidder will remain a (0) bidder.

Typical. Why doesn't the seller cancel that bid? Surely he's watching the last few mins of a big ticket auction.

So what's the difference between a bidding war over a SNES game, and a bidding war over a Neo Geo game? :spock:
