Hi,
recently I've been contacted by at least 4 people asking me to check some rental flags pictures.
Someone may recall an authentication request on NGFL recently (which I have been notified about, as I do not have FB) that was the first case.
Basically they are all the same, thick fabric, no print on the other side, no hooks but most important, all the mistakes present in the fan-made vector file avail online... here only *one* of the many differences (fake on the right, see circle position and shape):
here the same detail from the vector for reference:
I won't make names, as the potential buyers so far were kinda victims, but in one case I've been "explained" (...) that to be a pre-production run of around 20 pieces available from a guy from Japan and it seems that's were they are actually coming from, as stated by other people pretty much with the same story.
I'm pretty sure most of the people involved are in good faith, but fact is, someone made a batch of very bad fakes, and trying to exploit naive/last minute collectors who wants to believe *anything*, in order to get some new item ... see the recent case of Metal Slug "ASOF" , with alleged offers beyond 3000$ despite having being verified as a fake, even by the seller.
Frankly, if people have money to waste and like to buy any piece of shit with a neo geo logo, be my guest, just please do not feed these stupid rumors about "pre-production" items, every time there is a cheap fake.
