Best Snack Food For Gaming?

By my definition, it has to be consumable using only one's fingers, no forks, spoons, knives, chopsticks, etc.

Normally this eliminates anything like Doritos, Cheeto's, etc., which I am not fond of anyway, due to all that flavour powder crap all over them. It makes them too messy to eat while gaming, as it will get all over your fingers then all over your controllers.

These new Doritos 3D Jalapeno and Cheddar I rather like though, as there is not much of the powder crap on them, and I like the flavour better then Doritos' so-called "Nacho Cheese."

Beef/Bison/Caribou/etc. Jerky is another great gaming snack food. Especially if it has lots of black pepper or habanero seasonings.

I kill anyone who gets chip grease on my controllers. You should have seen the time my three friends decided to eat the greasiest potato chips on earth while playing my PS2 and GameCube. I totally flipped. I'm such a jackass.

The best gaming food would be... Reces Peaces, or Gummy Worms. MMM...

A nice tall glass of ice filled water. I know it's not really a snack, but I'm not really a snacker.

In Scotland (home of all foods in batter mix) i can go down to my local chip shop (or delivered) and get a variety of sweeties in batter mix.

For example Kit-kat + Snickers

My favourite is a pizza crunch, which is a small pizza deep fried in batter mix served hot

LOVELLY - NOT TO GREAT ON THE HEART!!!!!!!!

I'm a very light eater, and just reading that made me want to puke. No offence against your culture, but that's some HEAVY food. Wow.

What else to you batter and fry?

Gummi Bears, small Pretzels and a big bottle of iced water.

On weekends I substitute this with Italian Grisini and a dry red Tyrolian, or a simple quarter of Montepulciano.

After the sod burn has set in I usually drink some milk, and either go straight back to my consoles or to the bathroom...

At the moment I get a cup-full of UTZ pretzel sticks, they are by far the best pretzels I've had. No residue at all, which means complete control :)

I also enjoy those Fruit-by-the-Foot rolls, very addictive!

I love Doritos, but too much of a mess when handling media/on joysticks/pads/etc., same with potato chips... <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Funions... damn my friend can clear bags of those things at a single sitting

This is where we see who's the fat gamer and who isn't.

I don't eat when I play games. In fact, I treat games like my own Jenny Craig program. The more I spend on games the more weight I lose. It's not like I'm more healthy. I just can't afford to buy food.

I would never eat when I was gaming anyways, I don't wanna get any sort of gunk on my stuff.

It's not what you eat, it's how much of it you eat. Just cause someone eats a lot of junkfood doesn't mean their overweight, I do and I weigh 155 pounds (i'm 6'1).

It's the people that eat 24/7 that get fat, hell there are days when I don't eat anything but some serial in the morning, cause i'm just not hungry, eating is tiring, I don't see how people do it all the time.
