I wouldn't go that far haha. 720p with zero lag will be worlds better than playing on an old console. I'm also very happy with the price.

When your TV sucks for upscaling a 720p input to its native resolution, you go that far.

The hilarity of it all that I'd have to pump the AVS into one of the Framemeister's HDMI ports just to get a decent 1080p image.

One of the final Samsung plasmas.

I try to avoid feeding it 720p. Xbox 360 games with its built in scaler are much preferred to 720p PS3 games.
