Hey there guys!

Seems to me a LOT of questions are repeated time and time again. Fair enough, sometimes they're buried deep in the archive which a newbie/occasional techie may not find. But sometimes they're within a few posts!

Anyway, would it be possible to have a techie FAQ section on the site? I'd suggest such topics as:

General:
Cleaning carts (often under 'glitching')
BIOS chips

AES/CD:
PSU ratings
Country mods (and why this is popular
S Video/Stereo mod (and why this is a good idea in the US)

several other popular ones, especially for MVS and superguns!

So, can we? please please please please!!!!!

Anyone else got any feedback on the idea?

Sounds like a good idea to me. A tech support section, much like the site already has a reviews section . . . just need someone to assume responsibility for it!!

There was also discussion of a glossary some time ago but again, nobody took point so it didn't get done. But I think a tech FAQ would be a great idea.

Cool, glad some people agree.

Thought it might make sense... saves time for everyone. People get the answer they want fast, and we don't have to keep repeating the same stuff (keeps archive easier to manage)

That'd leave more time to discuss what IS the best method of cleaning carts LOL

BTW, clean discs with a soft lint free cloth, from the cventre to the edge - ONLY in one direction.

hehehe

A tutorial type section. http://www.dcemulation.com has a tutorial section which I think works well for that site.

We need more support. Come on people lets hear some more input.
