I recently purchased an Astro City Cab and bought a MV-1B board from Big Bear.

The Question I have now is how can I easily wire in the 4th button for Neo with my current setup? I searched some but I guess My searching skills weren't getting it done so I thought Id post here for Ideas and suggestions.

If the wire from the JAMMA harness is still intact then you need to follow where both wire 'c' and '25' go. Crimp a quick disconnect on the end of both and wire it directly from the JAMMA loom and onto the button you're using. If you're using a 12P connector and pins and/or want to make your own harness, you can buy the parts from www.akihabarashop.jp, but I'd shop around for a local place.

If you don't own one, purchase a pin extractor.

I ordered the pin extractor. Hopefully I can track that wire down easily.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it more than you know!

If the full Jamma harness loom is intact, go by this.

http://hardmvs.com/manuals/Jamma2NeoGeo4SlotPinout.pdf

You need to trace button D's position from the loom. If it's not there, both 1p and 2p button D needs to be wired. What kind of Jamma connector do you have currently?

I posted a pic of the Jamma Harness if that helps you see what Im working with

Use the Jamma diagram I posted from hardmvs.com with this if you want to see which wire goes to what.

Follow the wire I marked (wire 25 "parts side") and the one directly underneath it (wire c "solder side") to the CP. Wire 25 is 1P 'D' and wire c is 2P 'D'. Chances are each of those wires are going to the backside of those two 12 pin connectors. If they are you may just need to add a connecting pin and wire it to the future button you're adding. Another option, you could just bypass the 12 pin connector, crimp a .187 quick disconnect and wire the buttons that way. Personally, I rather take the extra time and use the 12 pin connector since you have one.

Out of curiosity, how are you adding the button to the CP?

CP has 6 button already. 3 buttons plus 3 plugs for buttons 4,5,6
