Well I wonder how many people canceled their pre orders from NCS, because Shawn just seemed to announce his "US Version" strangly a week or so AFTER NCS announced their Sengoku 3, and was about to get their MS3 in.

To me that is BS. Running a bussiness is not cheap you know, costs much more than running a fan site.

man some of you whiny,ungrateful,idiotic ppl make me sick...like nick said first you bitch about the thing coming out,then you bitch about it not coming out,then ya bitch about the price,blah blah blah...i know for a fact that a few working proto types of the aes 2 where made and ppl have played them and questions where asked by the ppl who mattered if the thing should be produced...but seeing most ppl wanted the phantom 1 converter and everyone was bitching about this and that ,it would be financially stupid to mass produce a system only a few hardcore gamers would buy.
would you invest all the loot in a masss production if the feedback was the way it was and you had doubts it would sell??

..the one company that has done nothing but fill this scene with excellent products and truthfull responses concerning their products and you ppl cry just because one product did not make it out as planned..buy a converter then..take a look at their current store items and tell me these guys dont have a better selection and insane products that very few have to offer..

That is the combined tracking info for 42 cases of (Well, 41 2/3) English MS3. Sheer coincidence that Shawn is in Memphis, and the SNK is in Osaka?

That's the thing...
Considering that there are people here that would pay an extra $200 for a game just to get it in English, you'd think these same people could possibly afford an AES II?

The demand was obviously there... maybe not on a grand scale where they could have sold thousands in one day, but definitely where they could have made the systems to order.

It's not the fact that they are cancelling the AES II... they blatantly stated on their web site that they're not doing it due to bad press, then went on to list many comments that were on this very page. Basically, he's blaming us as a community for the "failure" of the AES II. That's why you got people flaming them.

I could careless... ESPECIALLY since I don't own, nor do I care about the Sengoku or the Metal Slug series. From a gamer's perspective? As long as people are getting materials that work at a comparable price, and they are satisfied with the quality of the merchandise, then I wouldn't care if it was coming from my 2 year old niece putting together conversions with a soldering iron from Fisher Price. You usually hear "collectors" complaining about quality... I just want the damn games.

However, I do have my limits and my scruples. There are just some people I would NEVER deal with. Those people know exactly who they are... <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

That's the funny thing about it, threads and threads were made about the AES2, wanting to know the status, specs, prices, pics, well actually anything about the thing.

I myself was extremly looking forward to it because it looked to be not only great AES/MVS solution, but also a high quality Supergun. The problem? Arcade never bothered to touch on those threads. Days turned into weeks, weeks into.. well you get the picture. Hype needs to be injected with a bit of substanced every now and then and Arcade failed at this. It dosent matter if your Nintendo or Paco's Taco's, if you want to sell something, give the people what they want, if not they will loose interest <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

Yes! and I think it's really low of Arcade to try and play this off like "The community killed the AES2" by posting those dumb quotes. Why doesn't someone collect all the AES2 questions that were asked on this very site, and that were never answered!

The only persons fault it is for this not happening is Arcade, personally I think he was never gonna release it, he used it as a gimmick to keep his name out there amoung people.

To be honest I think it's more or less !Arcade! has no real desire to get Involved with the drama here.

They already said they are not here to compete and to be quite frank for the most part, The Neo Scene can suck you in with it's little tidbits of BS and next thing you know you're trying to defend yourself in a million & one directions.
