AES carts- dog tag

Is it possible to tell if AES games are Euro or US, if the seller isn't selling the manual with it? The manual has (or doesn't have) the dog tag, so is there any other way of determining the region, if the games insert and cart label are otherwise identical?

The spine of the insert would also have the dog tag.
