He will be missed.

I loved watching Batman as a kid.

I remember getting captivated by the informercial for the complete series on really late at night. I would see the clips and recall the episodes.

Man, this is sad. I still remember the batmobile going out of the batcave in the 60's/70's TV show. That was incredible then. RIP Mr. West.

Poor guy, awful way to go. R.I.P

Awful?

From the article:
West died peacefully surrounded by his family and is survived by his wife Marcelle, six children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

I mean it's still sad as hell, but if you have to die there are a lot worse ways.

Very sad news. Met him last year at a comic con and he was very friendly, funny, and personable with fans. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy beyond his iconic TV roles. He was scheduled to be at a Connecticut comic con in August with Burt Ward and Lee Meriwether, so his health must have deteriorated unexpectedly.

RIP Mr. West.

The Batman I grew up with. So sad.

I would've loved to play Stratego with him. RIP.

Was really sad to see this news in my feed when I woke up. I'm a huge DC Comics fan and I love the Batman '66 series. Was so glad that it finally found its away onto to home video just a few years back.
