I was busting around the net and I came across a site by a guy named briggs. It's a very well done site and the layout if sweet. I looked at some of the flyers for Neo Candys and this is the 1st time I have ever seen this model.

As I recall, the monitor tilts up to about a 45 degree angle. Neat little cabinet.

HARD MVS: A central repository for information about the SNK Neo-Geo MVS cabinets.

Great site with lots MVS related pictures. Added the site to the links section of NG.com today. This site really makes me want a Neo Candy. I’m still hunting for a dedicated 6-slot MVS cab, but finding one in nice condition isn’t easy.

I wonder how the cab pictured in your post is intended to be played? Standing up? Your neck would hurt after a while. Sitting down? Would be hard to see the screen, unless you had a high chair.

The only thing about the site that scares me if the raped arcade cabs converted to Neo*Geo. This one alone makes me cry. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" /> <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" /> <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

I love the Neo but some cab should have never been fucked over like this one.

It looks like Xerox machine that someone broke and flipped over the top of. That's why there's yellow police tape across the flier. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

That "raped" stargate cabinet that was converted to a neo MVS setup is hilarious.

I saw it go up for auction on Ebay (must be where Briggs saw the pics). I'm not sure if it sold or what it sold for, but that would definitely not be worth the shipping!

Yeah, that's the coolest-looking Neo cab in existance in my opinion. I saw these flyers about a year ago, but have never even seen one for sale...ever. Not online, not in person, I haven't even seen a pic of one other than that flyer. From what I understand, the cab is extremely short. The control panel is about lap height (when sitting on a stool) so your hands rest comfortably and the screen is very easy to see (it can also be angled to a certain degree, or lay flat like a printer).

Anyway, if I could have ANY cab I wanted, this would be it. Well, I MIGHT take one of those Neo 50"ers instead, but this one is a close second.

first off. its A neo cotail cabinet, only not in the way coctail cabs used to be done back in the day. it is one of the first neo "candy" units from A while ago. the body is made of metal unlike new neo candies. and it has head phone jacks and A memory card reader (unlike all other neo candies) the tilted screen is a great idea so you wont get annoyed constantly looking down at the screen. keep in mind: these cabs are not as rare as you might think. the 25 inch upright in this model line was up on Ebay from the tao brothers (and in eccellent condition I might add) and for under $300. it did not get A single bid. while A cockail unit is bad ass you have to cosider looking over that screen constantly (especialy when playing with a freind). when many people take the plunge on A MVS cab (especialy when its the only one they will get, and even more so if you are on the east coast) this may not turn uot to be a wise choice in the end. find A coctail cab first and see if you like it.
I would contact the tao brothers. most of the neo MVS cabs from japan seem to be readily available and are at A great price. I am getting one myself this summer.
Shawn, do your self a favor and forget about an american six slot. you should look at A super neo 29 or super neo 29 type 2 candie cab. theres a member who has both on his collection page in mint condition. go check it out.
