I'm always worried about posting in this thread because I think it's already been posted before... but this is pretty cool:

Heard this on the radio today...

This song screams '80's electro/alternative'. It's a lot different from most of the stuff posted here, but you might like it if you like stuff like the Cocteau Twins and bands that were very ambient in the 80's.

Like I said, different, but it's obviously emulating that 80's alternative/electro sound.

Nice sounds. That video must've been inspired by the 70's movie "Hardcore". I tell you, that movie was hard for me to watch, and made me feel pretty fucking guilty about my porn habit. Very funny that they decided to spoof such a fucked-up movie.

So I just saw this:

and had to know who did the music for it. After doing some looking around, it seems to be PERTURBATOR. Don't think his stuff has been posted yet. Pretty hot shit.

You can listen to both of his albums in full on his site that I linked to above.

A song that came out in the 2000s, set to a movie that came out in the 80's, about a story that took place in the 50's, the music--emulating the sound of the 80's....

I like it.

Saw College and freinds on the 'Drive' tour last night. It was fucking glorious.

Electric Youth and Anorrak were ummkay, but College blew my fucking mind.

An added bonus was watching all the awkward white guys try to dance.

Best $15 bucks I've ever spent.

Special delivery for you Retro Electro and Comic book fans!
Lazer Hawk and comic artist Dave Rapoza are doing a collab. Dave is releasing a personal solo project called "Skull and Shark". It looks like it's a real winner.

Woah, very strange.

I wonder if they were inspired by the Zombie V.S. Shark scene in Fulci's "Zombi 2" .

The music even sounds like Fulci-esque music with an electro take. I'll have to check this out.

I just got back from the Drive show in New Orleans. While I was outside of the venue taking a break from the loudness I chilled and talked with the members of Anoraak. They were cool as ice. I totally geeked out. My ex-girlfriend wanted to come but she had to work so I called her up and let one of the members talk to her on the phone. Yeah like I said they were really cool.
