the cat has the best defense along with nanja in this game
because of his speed and fast strong charge shot
such as the effective use of lv2
for example, with till, always try to release lv2 making a chain explosion with the charge shot
dorappies are much stronger with fireballs
the longer the chain the better
this wil lincrease the chances of trapping your opponent
and also force him to reflect your normals
so after sending a lv2 with normals, be ready to reflect any free reverses your opponent will most probably send for you
also with yanyan, never miss to use lv2 when your opponent is dizzy
the pigs are extremely effective gainst slow characters
you can even send 2 lv2 in a row
also, for a more advanced tecnique, try to release lv2 when a tricky zako formation has appeared in your opponent's field.
formations with bubbles, or those that are prone to trap your opponent
this can be used by all characters, except for kim, shmitt, griffon and nanjas.
with till i'd give priority to lv2 + long chain
till has the best attack among the fast characters.
while nanja has the best defense among slow characters
you can't charge a level 2 attack from zero once a tricky formation has appeared
another effective way to use lv2 is when you see the exclamation mark on your opponent's field
it the exclamation is to anounce a formation that requires taking a coin, you know that your lv2 will cause a lot of trouble
the timing to release lv2 depends on each chararcter
if you release at the right timing, your opponent will probably fail to take the coin, and will have to deal with the hellpers and the bubble zakos at the same time
well , this technique s best since it gives ou time to charge for your lv2
what do you suggest in this situation. im ran and i have my gauge max for a boss attack and fewer comes but didnt come yet for my opponent . what should i do? make a boss attack and activate my fewer or wait my opponent to activate his fewer then launch a boss attack
release lv2 with macky, tinker ,yanyan ,sprites, and you'll see it's really effective
remember that lv3 is good to strengthen your fever rush, but is also good as well to weaken your opponent's fever
if you want strong attack, you'll release lv3 when your fever begins
if you choose to give priority on defense release it when your opponent has begun his fever
this will all depend on the characters you are playing
also, remember that the main goal of lv3 + fever is not actually kill your opponent with the boss,he won't unless he's a helpless noob
rather, is to force your opponent to reflect the fever normals you'll be sending
so after you release lv3 go to the top and be ready to reflect as many reverses as you can
on the other hand, if you are the one facing this technique, try to kill the boss as fast as possible before the normals arrive at your field
and if you fail, just try to dodge everthing, the boss and the fever normals
it's not easy but it's still better than reflecting a great amount of fever normals, which will cause your death or all your bombs
you shouldn't waste your fever time by charging up for lv3
you should do before you activate your fever
you know that with kim or other fast characters your fever will be always weaker than other characters, so, sometimes you can consider doing that on defensive purpose
fever in themselves are all the same if i understood you correctly
one advice i can give you about death is
don't try too hard to destroy him unless you really need to
death has his own life bar and it grows whenever it dies and resurrects
so killing him often you risk having a harder death ealier than your opponent
no, his life bar will remain the same but his speed will grow anyways
but keeping him soft so that you can kill him with few shots really helps when you risk being trapped
if you care to know, death 's maximum life bar is 99 and it wil lstop growing when it reaches this number
kim's charge shot's power is 18 ,so he'll need more than 5 full strikes to kill it
whats the life bar of the first death?
but you can always kill the death with just one bomb, no matter how long is his lifebar
the first one is 3
this means that you can also use even the first death to make a boss attack if you amanage to explode him with +3 reverses if these reverses life bars are smaller than 3
what's the incremental pattern of her life ? 3 then 6 ? 9 ?
yes fran it grows by multiples of 3
death appearance spot will vary on your position in the moment he is about to appear
if you are on the left side he will appear from the right in the top
if you are on your right side he will come from the left
and if you are in the middle he will also come from the middle top
this means, it's always better to position yourself in the sides, because thus you'll keep death at a longer distance from you
this also means that if you happen to be on the top, keeping yourself in the sides will prevent an instant death since death will appear on the opposite side
if you are a master to handle the fewer mode plus sending helpers at the right time plus good reflexes
then you can tell you are a someone good in this game
and strong hleprs such as sprites or macky's will have little effect if used in bad timing
another good thing to know if you use shmitt, griffon or till
try to use lv3 when you have your boss alive in your opponent's field
shmitt and grifon will send 5 helpers
increasing considerably the chances of trapping and letting no other option than to bomb
with till, you can use an even better strategy
release your lv3 just when the boss is being destroyed or when he's retiring to the bottom
when a boss is being destroyed, the slowdown effect caused by his presence will end and there wil be amoment when the game runs noticeably faster
you'll see the 4 dorappies released at this point will descend really fast, giving your opponent little time to react
4 really fast dorappies are really strong, your opponent will most probably have to use a bomb
well, there always can be some minor factors that will maket the dorappies go faster or slower, but i assure you 90 % of the times this will work
thats what really makes it good, if they were to end on the top it would be meaningless no matter how fast they are
btw this techinique is also valid with sprites
if you do correctly, the 4 rabbicats that appear will be not only fast, but also they will appear surrounding you, literally trapping you
so you have to release your lvl2 attack with till while a boss is being destroyed?
well, you can do that, but i recommend lv3 if you can afford it
just as i said, for some reason lv3 dorappies are much more prone to descend all the way to the bottom

in that specific case the fact that kim used a bomb right before also helped
the bomb also has the effect of causing a slowdown, so right after the bomb is finished a momentary acceleration takes place
also macky i have some questions about nanjas
which moment is the best for their lvl 2 attack?
one set of nanjas wil almost always make your opponent miss at least one zako formation in fever,so you'll have less fireballs to ddeal with
with nanja,it's important to handle correctly his charge shot
you need to be able to make perfects or long chains with his charge shot
this will give you a great advantage in fever, since you can be charging up and release anytime either for extending the combo chain, or shoot back at reverses, or even reflect normals tht are too fast or too big to dodge
you have to aim right though, tring to reflect as many reverses and as few normals a spossible
is there a reliable way to dodgne yan-yan boss attack . The one who send little crescents
there is a safe spot for that
it's somewhere in either side at the bottom line
also goku,when using ran
i saw you miss many chances of reflecting a reverse
if they are fast and go diagonally, you shouldn't take the risk, but if they are slow or go straight you need to reflect that by regular shooting
and i said shooting directly at them with regular shot, depending on many factors the rabbicats tha are made this way wil be faster most of times
yeah, regular is better for two reasons
1.your opponent won't hear the charge shot's sound, so chances are that you'll get him off-guard
2. if you see more than 1 reverse, shoooting with normal shot will send the heleprs one by one, instead of sending them all at once
you may think the reflecting them with a chain combo would be valid but no, shooting directly almost always makes them faster,so give yourself some effort and mash as hard as you can at those reverses
well, if you feel you have no time but for a charge shot then go ahead.its better than nothing, but also take care not to reflect the normals with that
if you do this in fever 90% of times you'll get a supersonic rabbicat
also, take into account that the number of perfects you make wil linfluence on the speed of your heleprs and also your fireballs
so this technique won't work if you make few perfects
another advice on lv2's effective use
with characters whose speed of heleprs is important, make sure to release it when there is no slowdown in the game.
you will have noticed that sometimes the game runs faster or slower
choose the right timing when everything goes fast and smooth
most often this will happen when you are making a lot of perfects
so, if you want to release lv2 ,do it after making 3 or 4 perfects in a row
you can test this against cpu.compare the speed of the lv2 helpers you release after making a series of perfects to the one you get after making chains without perfects
with yanyan, tinker, macky, etc the difference will be noticeable
