Godzilla x Kong
Hot off the back of a rather grounded and serious Godzilla film (Minus One), we get this absolutely peak stupid flick and I am here for it.
I won't dip into spoilers since it just dropped, but I found it very stupid and very fun. The human characters are less intrusive here, with Kong taking center stage and Godzilla a bit off to the side. Most noticably it was a very bright and colorful film, with almost all of it taking place in the daylight and some fun trippy colors inside Hollow Earth.
The last 30 minutes go pretty hard, but I wasn't bored waiting for shit to go down since there was enough sprinkled in prior.
