Yeah, if you read over the past 10 or so pages (pages?) of this thread (not recommended), you'll see I've always said Wilder is rustic and then some. I like the persona, the power but he is much less a boxer than a beast of a man who uses boxing gloves to kill his adversary.
I don't like Fury's spasticated twitch style but after last night I consider myself a fan. Balls like rocks.
I do think the knock-downs where enough to ensure he lost the fight though. He won the fight outside of this, outboxed Wilder and showed him for the flat footed one trick pony he is. But those two drops, especially the brutality of the second one... put it this way, the ref could have stopped the fight in round 12. Had Wilder better skills he would have finished the job then and not winded himself.
Fury definetly is the Lazarus of the boxing world though, in more ways than one.
