The thing a lot of people arn't mentioning is he's selling the games to only people he knows that won't be flipping these things. So far he's had so many fucking offers from people who are known to flip and he's been telling them to suck a dick.

After having dealt with several people from Nintendo Age, I wouldn't trust anyone there. They say they won't sell but, as I said earlier, they're just willing to wait longer than Atwood is.

So this guy named Atwood is a legit guy with traceable backstory - he has DOZENS of sealed from factory NES games.

If you don't want to watch the video - just google it. The best threads are on Nintendoage (where they are raging about their items being devalued) and reddit.

This is the hidden part of a collecting community you don't see online and only hear about in IRL conversation. Many people are private and don't want their names out there for whatever the reason is. If you think everyone who collects games has an online or known presense, you would be wrong.

^ this. Not everybody feels to need to publicize their collections to get their e-penis stroked. VGA grading is the same as e-Viagra. When simply owning the game isn't enough to get a hard on anymore.

I'm 3 mins in to the video, pretty funny how people are just trying so hard to prevent him from selling these games. Don't like one specific thing, take it down... :thevt:

EDIT: Also, love the fact that the people complaining about all this shit are the ones who have these games just so they can sell it off for mad profit later on. Get and play the games because you freakin' like them!

rarebucky has always been a good dude with me. Dude knew what was coming and got prepared - can't hate the player.

More like made a market for himself. It isn't just reselling that got him called out, he went above and beyond ending auctions early and lying etc.

Cool if true.

But ultimately won't affect prices much and only temporarily. Ask Shawn what he sold NOS Super Dodge Ball MVS kits for back in like 2004. It was a $200 kit before that and once the Neo Store stock ran dry it went right back up.

Wouldn't those 18 Stadium Event carts really affect the price of the one that was out there or did more Stadium Event carts come to light after the first one was plastered all over the internet?

Kind of a dick move that he waited so long to let people know about this. I could understand if the guy was collecting in private and finally came online and was like "look what I got!" This dude is known for collecting and just held back.

It's a dick move to not let people know about your personal possessions? The only people upset at this are collectards. Oh wait, now I get why you think he's a dick.

In my previous post I said it was funny how the collectors were getting really upset because they are trying to just keep their collection forever then sell it years from now to retire or w/e. The thing I think that is a dick move is what was revolving around Stadium Events. I only read the news that was posted about it once someone ended up finding it at Goodwill or something. That copy sold for $50,000+ or something. It sold for that much because it was the only one known of at the time I believe. However, if he had come out and talked about it, would it have sold for that much? Most likely not.

If he wanted to make even more money it was stupid to reveal he had so many copies - that in itself devalues the copies he has for sale. I cannot help but wonder if these are all cleverly created fakes. Seems really strange the volumes of these sealed games he seems to have.
