5 -- BELLA TWINS (Divas champion NIKKI BELLA & BRIE BELLA) vs. NAOMI & TAMINA SNUKA

Nikki started things off as the announcers talked about Brie's state of mind with her husband, Daniel Bryan, talking about his career in jeopardy six nights ago on Raw. Brie tagged in, then got superkicked right off the ring apron by Tamina. Brie sold an injury, using the template from house shows over the weekend where she was "injured" mid-match. The heels then worked over Brie as Nikki tried to get a tag.

Brie eventually made it to her corner, bringing in Nikki who fought two-on-one. The numbers game caught up to Nikki, who took Rear View, but she kicked out of a pinfall. Nikki wanted a top-rope move, but Tamina posted Brie ringside, then Naomi slammed Nikki off the top for the pin and the win.

WINNERS: Naomi & Tamina at 6:13. And the heel remains on the chase for the heel champion. Basic tag match getting over Brie not being a helpful partner with Daniel Bryan on her mind.

6 -- KING BARRETT vs. NEVILLE -- Unofficially Match #3 in 1-1 series

Neville ran circles around Barrett early on, sending Barrett to the outside to regroup, as JBL said. Or, retreat, as Cole put it. Barrett suckered in Neville for a big kick to the face, then he ran Neville back-first into the ring apron. Barrett continued to wear down Neville back in the ring. Neville suddenly exploded on Barrett with a series of kicks and strikes before landing a standing Shooting Star Press for a nearfall.

Neville teased the Red Arrow, but Barrett got up and cut him off before Neville could reach the ropes. Barrett smashed Neville in the face, then caught him with Winds of Change for a two count. Neville suddenly responded with an enzuigiri, then he climbed to the top turnbuckle looking for the Red Arrow, but Barrett rolled out of the ring to avoid. So, Neville adjusted and landed a big twisting splash onto Barrett. But, Neville sold a knee injury on the landing. Neville limped back into the ring at eight, Barrett started to return to the ring at nine, but then decided to hang out ringside, receiving a ten count.

Post-match, the crowd booed as Barrett sneered and started to walk away from ringside. Neville's music played, and he got his hand raised, but Barrett jumped back into the ring and attacked Neville. Barrett smashed Neville around ringside, then took his King of the Ring gear and posed in the ring. Suddenly, Neville returned to the ring. He ducked a scepter shot, then German Suplexed Barrett, breaking the scepter. Neville then positioned Barrett in the corner, climbed to the top turnbuckle, and snapped off the highlight reel Red Arrow, wowing the crowd. Neville got up selling the knee injury, then his music played again.

WINNER: Neville via count-out at 7:22. Interesting booking - Neville got a count-out win, the king acted un-kingly post-match, and Neville actually delivered comeuppance after the match. A very circuitous route to the Red Arrow avoiding Barrett taking a pinfall loss. (**1/4)

7 -- WWE World Hvt. champion SETH ROLLINS (w/Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) vs. RANDY ORTON vs. ROMAN REIGNS vs. DEAN AMBROSE -- four-way WWE World Title match -- Kane at ringside

After the bell sounded, all four men held their ground in their respective corners. Suddenly, J&J yanked down Reigns and Ambrose, leaving Orton in the ring with Seth, who tried to attack Orton. Orton ended up on the outside, then Ambrose landed a suicide dive. Reigns followed with a big dive over the top rope to take out everyone on the outside, including J&J. But not Kane, who remained off to the side. Back in the ring, Reigns worked on Rollins while Orton and Dean recovered on the outside.

Ambrose and Reigns then re-formed their alliance working over Rollins. Ambrose stopped to have a chat with Reigns, who cocked his fist for the Superman Punch on Rollins, but Kane suddenly pulled down Reigns and yanked him out of the ring. Ambrose attacked Kane on the outside, but Kane reversed momentum and smashed Ambrose into the ring apron. Kane then joined J&J taking out Orton on the outside. On commentary, Lawler talked dejectedly about Kane's decision taking the wind out of his sails.

Back in the ring, Rollins worked on Ambrose, but he could not put him away. Rollins landed a big dropkick, but Ambrose rebounded off the ropes into the rebound lariat on Rollins. Ambrose had Dirty Deeds lined up, but Kane hit the ring and took out Ambrose with a chokeslam. Lawler said Kane should just make the three count himself. Orton eventually took out Kane, then charged the ring to knock down Rollins, then clothesline Ambrose to the outside. Orton landed a t-bone suplex on Rollins, but the champ kicked out in-time.

Orton decided to take the action to the floor, where he cleared the English announce table looking to punish Seth. But, Ambrose got involved. Then Reigns, who posted Orton. Suddenly, Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins had a moment. Seth told them to put Orton through a table. And The Shield came together for a moment in time. "No, no, no!" Cole said. Reigns lifted up Orton, then Rollins and Ambrose combined for a triple powerbomb through the table.

The crowd buzzed with a mix of noise for the reunion and thinking Ambrose and Reigns turned heel. Cole called it a one-time-only reunion. Seth then smiled and stuck his fist out looking for an old Shield group meeting. But, Ambrose and Reigns turned their smile into a frown. Seth did the big gulp and took a beating. Ambrose and Reigns cleared the Spanish announce table looking to put Rollins through a second table, but Kane put a stop to that. No matter, as Reigns cut off Kane, then combined with Ambrose to powerbomb Kane onto Rollins on the Spanish announce table. But, the table did not break. The crowd popped, then chanted "one more time." Ambrose and Reigns soaked it up, then decided to try again. So, Dean hoisted up Kane and Reigns powerbombed him into Rollins and through the Spanish table. Big pop.

Ambrose and Reigns shared a moment ringside, then said there's only one thing left to do. So, Ambrose ran into the ring ready to square off with Reigns, who was in second. The crowd was deeply invested, buying the idea of a new champion coming up. They had a standing exchange with loud Yays for Ambrose and boos for Reigns. JBL said they are looking at a new WWE champion, which meant they were not. Ambrose landed his offense, but Reigns knocked him down for a two count. Ambrose returned the favor, but Reigns responded with the Superman Punch for a close two count. Reigns wanted a spear, but Ambrose blocked with a Dirty Deeds attempt, only to have Reigns counter with a big spear. Reigns covered, but Rollins scampered back into the ring to break up a pin attempt.

At 18:00, Rollins and Ambrose battled ringside, then everyone returned to the ring, where Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Seth, but Kane recovered and yanked Ambrose out of the ring before a three count could be rendered. Kane then took out the participants, including a chokeslam to Reigns on the ring steps. But, Orton snuck up behind Kane to post him.

Orton tried to get back in the ring, but Rollins grabbed him on the way in. Orton reversed, then nailed RKOs on Noble and Mercury when they tried to run into the ring. Orton then nailed Seth with a mid-air powerslam into a second-rope DDT. Orton called for the RKO on Seth as the crowd fired up. Orton had a big smile on his face teasing the RKO in front of a hot crowd, but Kane entered the ring, so Orton dropped Kane with an RKO. Seth then grabbed Orton and dropped him with Triple H's Pedigree. Seth covered Orton for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Seth at 20:52 to retain the WWE World Title. The crowd was red-hot for this match. Some very good moments during the match, including The Shield reunion, triple powerbomb call-back, Spanish announce table spot, and Dean vs. Reigns exchange. They tried to get heat on Seth for winning the match with help from Kane, Joey, and Jamie yet again, but it's become so cliched that the audience seems to just groan, grit their teeth, and find bright spots. The repeated interference has to be conquered by a babyface at some point, which seems to be building toward Reigns eventually overcoming the stacked deck to cash in all that build-up. (***3/4)

Post-match, Seth recovered on the outside, then Triple H walked down from the back and held up Rollins's hand in victory. Hunter and Seth walked to the top of the stage as Orton, Reigns, and Rollins recovered ringside. Cole said Rollins is still WWE World champion. "Best for business," Lawler dejectedly and sarcastically said to close the broadcast five minutes past the top of the hour.

Show was okay, I suppose. The main was a clusterfuck but also highly entertaining (the Shield-related stuff was well done). I fully expected Kane to help Rollins win and then chokeslam him after the match, but I like how they played it straight with Kane instead.

Also, on the subject of Kane- good lord, he is huge. I mean, granted, he's a few years younger, but compared to 'Taker, Kane is just in ridiculous shape for how old he actually is. I know his role at this point is pretty thankless, but on the whole, he's had a really, really good career. I think he'll be missed when he retires- he's just so versatile.

The only other match that really did anything for me was the tag title match. Kidd and Cesaro are fun as faces (Cesaro looks fantastic lately, and Kidd is awesome), and New Day were great, again. Good finish, especially after Woods was yelling about Freebird rules at the beginning.

I thought Cena/Rusev was going to last forever. Decent finish there, and at least it looks like Rusev can feud with someone else now.

Great crowd, overall, though they were a little generous with the "this is awesome" chants.

Oh, and it didn't dawn on me until her match that Brie has had two turns in a row with zero explanation. I don't get why they don't realize that it's hard to care about characters when they're completely illogical with zero motivation for anything they do (read: please, please, please take the belt off Nikki and have Naomi and Tamina do the jealous-of-the-belt but still a team thing).

Dean Ambrose saved the main event.
The Main event saved the show.

The fatal 4 way was easily the most enjoyable [to me] match the WWE has served up in since Undertaker/HHH.

Doubtful, the whole men hitting women thing is a no in the PG era unless it's a "accident" like when Big Show ran over AJ

I also didn't think of it until the match- two of the three Shield members have had to alter their finishers for being too dangerous (at least that's what I assumed happened to Dean Ambrose and his sweet front headlock driver being swapped for a double-armed DDT).

And then there's Reigns, using the "we don't think he can fuck this up" finisher.

I was wondering about the "modified" Dirty Deeds finisher and I guess Seth's alt finisher is the Pedigree now?

It is mostly a a TV "Standards and Practices" rule. But, with a PPV (which is self imposed nominally PG), set standards are potentially loser.

And with a 6 person elimination match, you can use some creativity to keep it within standards. Not that I expect WWE to be creative enough (or Bold enough) to throw Natty in the match.

There was a reason Rousey spent more time going after Steph then Triple H, Nattie ain't going to be in that match

The whole deal was sort of interesting, at least to me- Dirty Deeds use to be the sweet front headlock driver; same move that EC3 uses as The One-Percenter. Then, out of the blue, Ambrose started doing the double-arm DDT and Cole was calling that Dirty Deeds like it was the same move all along.

With Rollins, apparently the curb stomp is considered too likely to cause concussions- he stopped using it maybe just over a month ago...? His new finisher is a "Snap single underhook front facelock drop" (copied from Wikipedia), and I can't think of the move's name. The curb stomp looked fantastic, but I can see how it would be needlessly risky.

Oh, and the announcers have clearly noted the new finisher for Rollins (I mean that as opposed to the huh, nothing to see here, move along with Ambrose).

Holy shit, Kevin Owens was fantastic. Great exchange with Cena, and then he just came across perfectly. I assume he'll drop the NXT belt to Sami Zayn (possibly with John Cena playing some role), and then go up to the main roster full time starting at EC.

Dude is just the total package. Between him, Neville, Kalisto, and soon Zayn, Balor, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks, the NXT folks are going to kill it pretty soon here.

Also loved Rusev. His future is up there with Rollins as the guy that could be the no. 1 guy for a long damn time. Not thrilled with how Lana is being used, but Rusev is just so, so good.

And here's hoping that Ambrose's current run in the main event stays that way.

Oh, and did Bo Dallas ever show how bad he's being wasted. A feud with Neville would be pretty awesome, actually.

When will you ever learn, Scott Hall...

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall was physically escorted out of a wrestling event in NJ this weekend ... after promoters say the recovering substance abuser was way too hammered to do his job.

Hall has battled drug and alcohol issues for years ... but had teamed up with some other wrestling legends in recent years in a public effort to clean himself up.

Which is why the people at the Skate and Surf Music Festival in Asbury Park, NJ were so disappointed Saturday when Hall appeared to be wasted ... hours before he was supposed to host a meet and greet with fans.

According to our sources, Hall was given multiple chances to sober up ... but never did. Organizers told Hall to leave ... but he refused, demanding to be paid.

Eventually, security stepped in and escorted Hall off the property.

The event promoter, Ricky Otazu, tells TMZ Sports, "The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order."

Hall was arrested in 2012 for allegedly choking his girlfriend during a drunken rage and was sentenced to 10 days behind bars for a 2010 DUI arrest.

We made several efforts to reach Hall for comment -- and even called his close friends and family members -- but so far, no word from the wrestling star.

So I am guessing that the Tag Elimination Chamber match will feature 6 (or maybe 7) tag teams (instead of a wargames like 3 on 3)?

That will be some awesome crazy shit. Though I wonder if there will bee enough room in a cell for Big E and a partner.

I think that the Lana/Rusev pairing works well because she makes him look more like a monster. She is so petite (remember she is a ballerina) that he looks big on promos. But he himself is pretty short (though muscular).

I just don't think that she has a future as a wrestler despite McMahon's orders to "Push her". She has such a small frame (maybe 110 pounds soaking wet). It also appears that they are trying to give her the AJ Lee gimmick from two years ago.

With the release of the War Games dvd I had wondered if Vince would actually bring that back but then I remember he hates WCW

Unless it Luncha Underground , they don't seem to care if you are men or women in the temple , everybody fights. Sexy Star VS Pentagon Junior was a pretty good match and something you would never see in the WWE (you used to see it with Lyta). I was pretty shocked when i saw it the first time but it pretty fun to watch . The trio championship is even held by 2 men and a women.

I never got to thank you guys but i discovered the awesomeness of Luncha Underground thank to the people here . I am really enjoying it.

It looks like there's at least a chance that Seth will stick with the Pedigree- it makes sense, in a lot of ways, seeing as his "new" finisher was pretty lame, and he's supposed to be Hunter's protege and all. If that ends up being the case, that is a huge, huge endorsement from Hunter.

Totally agree. My original thought on the IC title match was hey, fun. Then this and I went HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME.

I'd really like to see PTPers get something like a push. Titus is so much better than where he's at, and Young is perfectly decent.

I think New Day retains, they're just too good to waste right now, but I could also see either Kidd/Cesaro or the Lucha Dragons winning in order to make New Day chase in their new characters (they'd be great at it, IMO).

This was pretty much my initial reaction when the whole deal with Dolph went down. She is so much further along than any of the other Divas when it comes to playing a character (her background as an actress helps), she really ought to be pushed at the top of the division along with Paige and Naomi instead of sent along with a random dude.

WWE NXT "Takeover: Unstoppable" Results: 5-20-15

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to James's complete report). Condensed here to in-ring results.

1 - FINN BALOR vs. TYLER BREEZE - #1 Contender match

Balor with an early headlock, Breeze out, then a shoulder tackle puts Breeze down. Breeze tries to hide in the ropes, but Balor drags him away by the foot. Breeze with a headlock of his own. Back-and-forth pacing indicates a long match ahead. Balor gets kicked off the apron onto the ramp. Breeze stomps him on re-entry to the ring. Neckbreaker only gets one for Breeze. This crowd is so hot tonight. Breeze grounds Balor with a tight side chinlock. "Chinlock City" sign in the crowd.

Sunset flip, then Balor rolls through and delivers a dropkick to reset the match. Double count. Balor in the corner, gets knees up to put himself on the offensive. Balor dropkicks Breeze's head right into the ropes, then hits a double footstomp from the apron to Breeze's back on the outside. Balor to the top, but Breeze rolls across the ring. Balor follows up with offense. Slingblade, but Balor runs right into the Supermodel Kick. Super close nearfall for Breeze off the kick.

Breeze tries to take off the turnbuckle cover, but he only loosens it. Breeze stomps Balor in the corner. Balor ducks the Beauty Shot, rolls under a double foot stomp, his a cover for two. Balor with a cover, but a kick-out sends Balor in to the exposed turnbuckle. Beauty Shot on the rebound and Balor kicks out. INSANE sequence putting over Balor hard.

Breeze can't find Balor, then starts heading up the ramp. Balor ambushes him, climbs up the stage decor, and hits a clothesline from the set. Back in the ring, corner dropkick, then Coup de Grace and it is over.

WINNER: Finn Balor in 11:30 to become the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. Really fantastic match. The final minutes or so was just unbelievable. I completely bought into the turnbuckle + Beauty Shot ended the match and who wouldn't? Great way to kick off Takeover for the folks who never saw NXT before.

2 - CHARLOTTE & BAYLEY vs. DANA BROOKS & EMMA - Tag Team match

Bayley and Dana Brooke to start and Brooke pantomimes breaking Bayley in half. Bayley gets Charlotte in, then catapults into Charlotte. Full nelson letting Bayley get a shot in. Brooke tags in Emma, who acts flattered. Bayley shoves Emma to the ground. Emma runs to the outside, then pulls Brooke off the apron to shield herself from Bayley. Bayley hits a dropkick through the corner ropes to both. Distraction from Brooke lets Emma rip Bayley off the turnbuckle. Emma starts to grind Bayley, then rapid tags keep Bayley cornered. Emmamite Sandwich, but Graves says it isn't called that anymore, without offering a new name. Emma paint-brushes Bayley a number of times, then elbows her right off her feet.

Distraction from Charlotte gives Bayley the time to recover. Bayley with a suplex, tags in Charlotte, and Brooke is in. Chops from Charlotte, who is on fire. A running kick drops Brooke, then Charlotte kicks Emma to the outside, letting Bayley get a handle on things. Double DDT from Charlotte to Brooke and Emma. The crowd is on their feet for Charlotte. Cover gets two. Emma pops off the ropes with an elbow, then gets boots up in the corner. Cross-body off the top, but Charlotte rolls through into a mid-ring figure four. Bridge pin, but the action breaks down. Bayley-to-belly takes out Brooke, then Natural Selection ends it.

WINNERS: Charlotte & Bayley in 6:51. Really exciting match there. Charlotte and Bayley are true stars just waiting for the spots to open on the main roster.

3 - RHYNO vs. BARON CORBIN

Lock-up and a quick break. Shoulder tackle plants Corbin hard. Corbin outside, but he immediately runs back in, takes a boot and a clothesline, and goes out again. Fast follow-up from Rhyno, who wrecks Corbin on the outside. Rhyno sits on the top, but Corbin knocks him down to the outside and follows up. "Cor-bin Sucks" to the New Day rhythm.

Corbin with offense in the corner, then continues to wear down Rhyno. Rhyno causes a double knock down and a double count. More back-and forth. The crowd wants the Gore. Belly-to-belly from Rhyno, who then warms up the Gore, but eats a clothesline. End of Days ends it.

WINNER: Baron Corbin in 7:15. Much, much better than their match in Philly. They sped it up and took out the long periods of plodding offense from Corbin and made it into a hot brawl that was pretty entertaining.

4 - NXT tag champions WESLEY BLAKE & BUDDY MURPHY vs. ENZO AMORE & BIG CASS (w/Carmella) -- NXT Tag Team Championship match

Amore and Blake start it. Amore with the offense. He's about to take a double team, but he manages to take Big Cass, who shakes his head to warn off the champions. Chop from Murphy, who begs forgiveness. Then he does it again. Big Cass yanks Murphy off the turnbuckle into a front suplex of sorts. Blake runs interference on Amore to let Murphy clear him from the apron with a clothesline. "Harley Quinn" chants directed at Blake. Amore gets cornered. Powerbomb into a backstabber double team on Amore for a nearfall. Murphy plants Amore on the top and looks for a superplex, but Amore blocks. Amore fights him off, then lands a flying DDT from the top rope.

Double tag and Big Cass creams Murphy and Blake at the same time. The crowd is crazy for Cass. Empire Elbow forces Murphy to break up a cover. Big Cass fends off the illegal double team, hits East River Crossing, and tags Amore's limp body to press slam him onto Blake. Suddenly, Alexa Bliss comes out and attacks Carmella, then takes a superkick. Bliss knocks Amore off the top, then Blake flops into Amore for the win.

WINNERS: Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy in 8:50 to retain the NXT championship. If anything was going to happen, I figured Carmella would be the weak link, but I expected her to turn, not for Bliss to interfere. I am not sure if she works as a heel, but we will see.

5 - NXT Women's champion SASHA BANKS vs. BECKY LYNCH - NXT Women's Championship match

Banks pushes Lynch into the corner. Lynch pops out of the corner with an armbar, then a drop toe hold. Rapid covers traded. Dueling backslide attempts. More quick covers. Banks wants a Thesz Press, but Lynch ducks under and cinches in an armbar. Banks scampers to the corner.

Banks slows the pace down. She wraps Lynch up the the ropes, then attacks the left arm while mocking Lynch's mannerisms. Lynch uses the time to recover enough for a surprise cover, but Banks kicks out and returns to the attack without letting go. She does her crossed-arm hold, then lifts Lynch into a Backstabber while retaining the hold, rolls Lynch over, and smashes her face into the mat while keeping the hold. Crazy stuff from Banks. Lynch rams Banks into the corner multiple times to finally break the hold.

Banks sets up double knees into the corner and hits it, making sure to damage the arm. Banks looks like she will tear Lynch's arm off, using her foot to push it in a way that I can't describe. The announcers are verbally recoiling. She grabs the arm and braces her feet on the should to keep yanking, but Lynch rolls her into a cover to force a break. "Sasha's gonna kill you" from the crowd and it sure looks that way. Lynch rolls into another cover, but Banks kicks out without letting her hold go. Lynch stands up with Banks still wrapped around her arm, flips her up, and delivers a suplex with Banks seated on her shoulder.

Lynch gets her second wind and delivers offense. Banks to the top, where a missile dropkick gets two. Brutal retaliation from Banks with a running double knee drop into the corner, then a cover for a nearfall. Banks looks like she's running out of tricks. She jaws at Lynch, then slaps her. European uppercut in response. Lynch wants a tilt-a-whirl, Bbut anks slips out. Banks to the outside. They brawl ringside. Lynch rolls Banks in. Suplex from Lynch, kip up, leg drop to the arm, and Lynch with an armbar using her legs. Another beautiful suplex for a nearfall. "Suplex City" from the crowd.

Lynch into an armbar. Banks is inches from the ropes, she scoots closer, Banks almost there... and she makes it. Banks sends Lynch to the outside to buy herself some time. Banks hits a cross-body from the ring to the outside through the ropes, but Lynch catches her, then dumps her into the steps. This is such a physical match. Lynch rolls Banks back in, then heads to the second rope, but she is spent. Banks jumps up and hits a superplex into the Bank Statement. Lynch taps.

WINNER: Sasha Banks in 15:33 to retain the NXT Women's Title. I cannot believe how good this match was. I expected a lot, but nothing this incredible. The sheer physicality, the in-ring store told, and Banks's incredible mastery of her character made this a can't-miss match.

6 - NXT champion KEVIN OWENS vs. SAMI ZAYN -- NXT Championship match

Owens immediately heads outside out of the bell in typical Owens fashion. Zayn calmly watches from the inside. "John Cena Sucks" from the crowd, letting Zayn ambush Owens from behind. Zayn unloads on Owens, but Owens weathers it to roll into the ring, then bludgeons Zayn when he follows. Clothesline clears Owens out of the ring. Body drop from Zayn outside. Zayn clobbers Owens on the steps, then Owens rolls into the ring and gets offense in after Zayn comes in. Owens gets dumped into the barricade, then a ring post. Zayn is furious.

Owens rolls into the ring, but Zayn yanks him back out, then punches him over the barricade. Zayn jumps over the barricade, then chases Owens. Count from the ref, pop-up powerbomb attempt, but Zayn holds onto the stairrails and beats Owens in the head. Back drop sends Owens right over the barricade towards the ring, and they roll in. Blue Thunderbomb for a nearfall.

Zayn wants another Blue Thunderbomb, but Owens starts to fight out. Full Nelson into a suplex gets a nearfall for Zayn. Zayn wants a Tornado DDT, but Owens blocks. Zayn dodges a cannonball senton, then an exploder suplex into the corner from Zayn. Zayn wants to Helluva Kick, but Owens rolls outside. Owens wants to use it to sucker Zayn, but Zayn blocks and hits another suplex outside. Zayn charges Owens, but takes a pop-up powerbomb into the apron.

Multiple refs check on Zayn as Owens rolls into the ring. Owens comes out again, mounts Zayn, and refs pour from the back to pry Owens off Zayn. Owens returns to the attack. Three refs and a trainer are out and Owens attacks again. More refs. A knee from behind to Zayn's head as the trainer tries to sit him up. Where is William Regal? Owens stomps Zayn's head into the ramp and Zayn can't move his arm. Owens rolls Zayn into the ring and the ring fills with refs to keep Owens off Zayn.

Regal hits the ring and explodes into Owens's face. Owens slowly backs away from Zayn, then attacks again. Regal almost rips Owens's face off, then Owens headbutts Regal out of the ring! Owens takes the championship and a chair from ringside, then scares the refs away. He starts to hit Zayn, then new music hits. It's some funk music, and Samoa Joe!

"Joe is gonna kill you!" from the crowd. Owens looks amazed. They go head-to-head. "Holy s---" just for the stare down. Owens starts to back up and Joe gets back in his face. Owens leaves the ring. "Thank you, Joe!" after Owens leaves.

WINNER: No contest in 13:00. This match never officially ended, but Owens left the ring at about 13:00. Despite being roughly eight minutes of actual match time, this was a five-star spectacle.

Post-match, Joe soaks up the crowd reaction. Owens suddenly comes from the back, then pauses when Joe sees him. Joe is hot for a fight, but Owens thinks about it, then backs out. "Not tonight. I did what I had to do," Owens said. I think the crowd just busted out a "mother------" on Owens.

That was astounding. The match itself was hard-hitting as you would expect from this feud. As soon as the powerbomb on the outside occurred, it just went insane. Seeing those refs and trainers come out without even a bell, it looked like they were fighting to save Zayn's life or career. Then Regal coming out, not being able to control Owens and tearing his face and nose in true Regal fashion, only to take a headbutt. Who can out-physical Regal? Kevin Owens. And then the surprise appearance from Samoa Joe? That was beyond amazing. The Joe introduction was so well-handled. If you thought Finn Balor was the #1 contender after his opening match, it looks like Joe just met him there.

Final Reax: This was everything a great PPV should be. They could have added two hours of filler and video packages, called it WrestleMania and I would have been happy with the overall match and story quality. The Owens-Zayn match was pretty good, but from the moment of the powerbomb to the end of the show, words just cannot describe how good it was. The Banks-Lynch match was such a great match by every possible measure. Balor-Breeze didn't detract one bit from the main event despite being an excellent match of its own. The women's tag match was a lot of fun, and Corbin-Rhyno didn't outlast its welcome. But, again... that main event.
