Here's the item I purchased from him:

and the thread here about it:

Got the game, tried it out and the sound was pretty staticy. I had to pretty much mute it so the static didn't kill me. I emailed him back and he said he would only refund the price of the game if I shipped it back. He charged $13 to ship it, which is excessive in my opinion, and then it would have cost me another $5 or $6 to ship it back...so spend almost $20 to get $10 back...woohoo. I then asked for a partial refund because it was partially working and he said he preferred to have the game back. I even tried cleaning the PCBs and it didn't help the problem. I'm just going to keep it and keep the volume low/off instead of spending $20 with nothing to show for it.

Looking back at his other feedback there seem to be other cases of him sending out parts that are defective. So be careful when bidding on his stuff....

I wouldn't have bid on that game, it the game itself looks a bit tattered and torn. Oh well, caveat emptor...

You'd think that if he put in the description that it "works flawlessly", maybe he actually tested it and it maybe it does actually work. He probably waited for the bootup sound and then turned it off. The sound doesn't crap out until the game starts. Oh well...maybe I'll get it fixed one day.
