Marurun
Marurun (まるるん) (Mauru in the English version) is a character in Waku Waku 7. His official nickname is "The Forest General" and he represents the green Waku Waku ball. His bio indicates that he is probably a male.
Story
Marurun is the non-threatening guardian of Lost Forest who can easily understand the human tongue. When he found Mugi, she took a liking to him and named him Marurun. He hopes to return the girl to her parents and protects her from the people who try to steal his Waku Waku ball. In his ending, Mugi is reunited with her family and they adopt him (he poses as a dog).
Personality
A caring giant who only fights when he needs to. He tries to avoid fighting if he can. Despite appearances, he is actually an animal of high status who is greatly revered for his strength.

- Sound Wave - Marurun can emit a strong blast of energy through the sheer sound of his roar.
- Superhuman Strength - Marurun is very strong and can toss nearly anyone one-handed.
