He is based on the real-life legendary Chinese martial arts master from Foshan, [[wikipedia:Wong Fei Hung|Wong Fei Hung]], and how he is portrayed in historical action movies, more prominently by [[:wikipedia:Jet Li|Jet Li]]. His real name is a reference to one of [[wikipedia:Jackie Chan|Jackie Chan]]'s stage names. He is symbolized by fire and his fan; his official nickname is "'''Oriental Justice''': 黄土からの使者" (''Kōdo kara no Shisha'', lit. Emissary from the Yellow Soil).

==Story==
Lee hails from China, where he learned a special form of Martial art that allows the user to control fire and involves the use of fans and powerful kicks. One day, he witnessed a “red star” (the opening of “Hell's Gate”). Knowing it to be a sign of great evil, he travels from his homeland of China to stop the evil before it spreads across the world.

After the closing of the Gate, he remained in Japan. He continued to study and improve his skills in the martial arts while earning a modest living at a nearby farm. When he senses the re-opening of Hell’s Gate, he stops his training to investigate once more.

There are two variation of his ending in ''The Last Blade 2'', one that indicates that he took the wrong ship and ended in America instead of returning China. The other shows him continuing his training around the world, starting with America.

==Personality==
Lee is a devoted and self-reliant young man who seeks to find his meaning in life. He is polite to his opponents and he gives his all in a match. In contrast to his serious image, he apparently has a poor sense of direction, sometimes leading him in baffling predicaments.

==Fighting Style==
Lee fights with a fighting style that's based on the Northern Faction [[wikipedia:Shaolin Monastery|Shaolin]] called "Flying Shadow Fist". Many of this focuses on acrobatic kicks mixed in with explosive force, as well as other stylish moves utilized with his fan. He also has a unique move where he can dodge attacks, then branch off into various counters.

Since his first appearance, Lee has been always played in Speed, and more so excelled in it. In ''The Last Blade 2'', his Power mode is given more damage to make it attractive. Still, Speed and even EX is the way to play for Lee, as Power attacks take away a lot of the mindgame factor that Lee can use. He is best played with combo rushdowns and his flexible linking of normal attack chains to special attacks more than make up for his decreased damage in these modes, something that has been, in the second game, further increased.
