His character is inspired by both Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan (Police Story). He has been voiced by [[Toshiyuki Morikawa]] ever since his debut.

==Story==
A Hong Kong detective who is always chasing criminals, Hon-Fu is on a case concerning the mass illegal drug trade in Asia. He has a hunch that one of the biggest proprietors in his home country is [[Ryuji Yamazaki]], and he follows the criminal to [[South Town]]. He continues to somehow lose sight of the criminal, which is a sort of running gag in the series.

==Personality==
Hon Fu is very goofy around everyone, especially around girls, but he is also a very serious cop. His natural clumsiness can be disastrous on the job, but his good humor usually makes up for it.

He is also on friendly terms with [[Kim Kaphwan]] as Hon-Fu apparently introduced him to Myeng Swuk. They both share a strong sense of justice, though Hon-Fu isn't as overzealous as his friend on the matter. For reasons unknown, Hon-Fu is also scared of his comrade and will jump at the slightest mention of Kim's name. He is also one of [[Cheng Sinzan]]'s friends as they admire their respective abilities in their fighting styles.
