Karnov's is amazing. DDT!

Edit: B/C switcheroo a must for me, only then I can truly let my powers flow unlimitedly...

Edit2: Fatal Fury Special vs Karnov's only in Mugen...so much fun though...

Is that what it takes for a fighting game to not be overrated? Characters who don't fall short? What is your criteria?

I mean, I like RBS and Ninja Master's 15x over MOTW..

Yeah I guess I'm just used to some people saying it's the best fighting game available. I just find the characters uninteresting. The music in the game is awesome though.

Only 3 games for best fighting of neo-geo is very hard for me really to making decision.
But finally I can give you for my opinion:
1. MOTW
This is absolutely best fighting in neo-geo forever ....

2. KOF98
Between 98 and 2002 are best for me both in KOF series but I choose 98 because of balance each characters in fighting time...

3. LB2
It's very very hard for me to choose LB2 because I love sword fighting both SS4 and LB2 but LB2 is winner a little ....

MOTW is SNK trying to do the Capcom thing...the did it well enough though but I think Kain being the only charger in the game is a crime...

1. Garou Mark of the Wolves
2. The Last Blade 2
3. The King of Fighters '98

These three titles are played during the Total Eclipse of SNK events in Japan. They are generally considered to be the most viable titles for competitive play on the Neo Geo. I think there are several great fighting games on the Neo, but these three have stood the test of time and have a bit more replay value than most other titles on the platform.

Honorable mentions:

Fatal Fury Special
Samurai Shodown II (best SS game, hands down)
Breakers Revenge
Real Bout 2
KOF '96 (Geese ftw)
KOF 2002
Samurai Shodown V Special

1- KOF 98 (all around great)
2- MOTW (gameplay is phenomenal)
3- RB (All about breaking the walls and getting ring outs)

Favorite fighting game of all time is KOF 13, but I guess that is not really "neo" but he didnt say "geo"

KOF 13 is my favorite of all time as well. Guess I didn't really specify. It will I guess be the last 2D KOF ever.

Hmmm. Tricky one. I think I'd have to say:

1) rbff2
2) kof 95
3) double dragon

At least they're the carts I plug in the most to play.

1) KoF '97
2) Samurai Shodown
3) Art of Fighting

Of course, plenty of others, but those 3 are far and away the ones that get the most play time from me.
