I know this is a long shot, but if anybody has a working TS cart lemmie know.

I'm willing to trade away a SF2:WW board, a SVC chaos cart, a Baseball Stars 2 cart and a RBFF2 cart to mitigate the price.

You may be able to get what you need for that 3rd strike cart if you help mitsu and I out :). Also, what version are you in need of? US/JP/Asia?

Sammy, I don't know. Tango wants a good bit of money for the cart and I don't know if selling a WW board and a SVC cart would cover it. WW boards usually go for about $30, right? And the price guide says SVC goes for between 40 and 80.

Also, I was thinking US cart though I think JP cart would work too. I don't want the Asia cart.

Well, the offer's out there for $40 shipped if you're interested, I've seen 3 sell out from under me at that price in the past month. Assuming of course that it's not a boot, and vanilla (no red wave or quicken rom editions).

naw you definitely do not want the asian version dude.

US is my preferance but as there are no options to getting it repaired *should* it die-- its a little more risky. Ive personally been through 4 US version carts and just dont want to deal with that anymore.

JP version is official and the price I quoted you (300ish) is, as mentioned at cost. Wish it could be cheaper, for myself even but thats the way it is. EMS 2 ways to Japan plus service charges make it pricey.

But considering a motherboard set up can be had for about 100.00 that makes a Japanese full setup, with a brand new battery and piece of mind for about 400.00. Not bad.

In either case... a US or Japanese cart is going to run you some bank... factor in the whole battery situation too which might need to be taken care of depending on the status of whatever you find.

Thanks for the heads up though-- I wont worry about holding onto it for you, but feel free to PM if you can round the money up.

Well, it looks like it's a no-go anyway. Sorry guys.

Sammy, I'm still looking for a board to replace the WW board we have in the cabinet now, and if I find one I'll be sure to talk to you first about selling the old one.

+1. Asian version doesn't even exist as far as I'm concerned. The lack of support for US cart failure kills it as an option for me. I hold my breath every time I boot up my JP system as it is, I can only imagine how worried I'd be knowing that it'd be gone for good if it failed. You could chance doing your own battery swaps, but I've read too many horror stories for me to mess with it. The way I see it, go JP and set aside $25-$35 a year for maintenance. A fresh cart is the best way to go if you don't have one already. Paying less for a working one with ?? battery is a gamble. I'd say ??? battery means the owner of it and the owner before don't know the battery age meaning it's probably pretty old.

hmm. Good question... I never actually checked to see if it was. Not sure that the cost would justify even having it done but I can certainly check if anyone is interested.

My guess is it would still cost the same amount as having a 3s cart revived so paying near or in excess of 300.00 may or may not be worth it to some.

@Noah-- sorry for not getting back to you dude... you can come through and pick up that packing wrap/towel anytime man. Just let me know!

I'd be willing to pay whatever the said price is, if they service Jojo HFTF. It would be good to know. If not, I guess rebuying the game is the last option.

Sure dude-- Ill look into it for you. Question though, is your cart Japanese region? I can try, but from my experience Capcom Japan will only touch Japanese region cartridges. Can always try to just slip it in and hope for the best but as there are no guarantees you might get stuck paying shipping charges for nothing.

Either way let me know and we can proceed. Im sending some carts off in a couple of days so if its something you want to do soon, we can make that happen. Of course it can always be done down the road as well.

My cartridge is the japanese version. The cart I currently have is still working, I was just wondering if they serviced it when it reached that final stage.

Ill ask my connection in Japan to check on it and we'll see what's what. I'll get back to you.
