See title. Anyone got a spare working Sega Saturn? Gonna put a Fenrir Duo in it for a buddy for Xmas.

Would prefer it to not be beat up or missing parts but don't care about model/region. Don't need a box, controllers, cords or games especially unless you're trying to get rid of them.

Trying not to pay more than $90 shipped but will bend slightly for a good deal.

Appreciate it but the only ones I see for that price on eBay are clearly marked as junk/as-is or are auctions with plenty of time to get the price driven up to what they normally seem to go for ($80-$100). While I'll certainly resort to that if I have to, I'd rather give money to more trustworthy people here than eBay randos.

See if you can find one that maybe is being sold for parts, but maybe the seller confirms it boots up, just doesn't read discs. If thats the case, who gives a fart. Take the dead drive out and replace it with the Fenrir which you was gon' do anyway.

There's a dude on some of the Saturn/Neo facebook groups named Johnny Rogue that sells stuff all the time, and had an ad up for like 4 Saturns that booted but didnt run discs up like a couple of weeks ago. Something like $30 a piece too.

edit: There's this one. Needs a little cosmetic work or you could go all out and replace the case entirely but that is more of a cost.

Appreciate the suggestions and will resort to fleabay if needed (particularly yamatoku... I bought shit from them back in the day without issue). Was just throwing this out there in the hopes of getting something more quickly and from a more reliable source.

If you're still looking for a working Saturn, I believe I have two working JP Saturns. I could part with one. I'd like to fire it up first though. I haven't powered them on in years so before I get your hopes up, lemme check that out. I cannot promise the timeframe on this. Probably this weekend I'll give it a look.
