lol, I want my Grey SFZ2A pheonixed. I got rid of the cab it was in and don't know when I'll get around to playing it or putting it in something. The Dramatic mode is why I'm keeping it. I sent a board off to Raz like 12+ year ago, and haven't tried to remove chips since. It would be nice to get someone in the US I could just ship the board to and get it done.

thoughts? Interest? Advice?

If you have the rom files or purchase them from razoola I can do the work for you. Or I could just send you the burnt roms and you can do it yourself.

If you're actually going to send the board to someone it might be cheaper for you to find someone closer (I'm in the Midwest and shipping cps2 boards isn't cheap).

NGT pal... just contact raz... you only need to send the eproms from 4 - 11 if i recall...

.... there are a few guys that do it in the USA... but all in all... i prefer to give my business to the raz...

So I went the route of paying Raz 20 euro for the files and I sent them over to Skate with $10 to burn and ship the 2 chips Raz said I need to swap. Hopefully everyone is happy and I didn't step on any toes. Much appreciation to all helping :)

Question about replacing chips for Phoenixing things. If I have the two original chips after swapping in the new ones, and I've removed the battery, could I ever put a battery back in and swap the chips back? or once it's done it's done?

For now once it's done it's done. The Phoenix code counts on a dead battery. Putting in a new battery can't restore the encryption keys. Word is some folks have figured out how to restore the keys but I do not believe that info is public yet.

Thanks for all of the info. Getting the chip set, but putting them away and just replacing the battery for now.
